A long dream adventure, a successful result with your bungalow on site! Lassarga is a fishing village in the extreme south of the Dakhla peninsula. The hyphen between the Atlantic and the lagoon. For many years forbidden, this beach has awakened the fantasies of many surfers. Visible from the plane in the landing phase to Dakhla airport, we all secretly dreamed of this wave behind our portholes, seeing its clean lines and its exceptional length, winding along the sandy point and the water where the wind, totally offshore, makes it glassy and endless. We are happy today that, of our own free will, we can finally give free rein to our vision of sport and hospitality. Beach as far as the eye can see, where flocks of birds plunge into the water as the fishing boats return.

ABOUT THE SURF CAMP
LOCATION AND SURFING CONDITIONS
Ocean Vagabond Dakhla Lassarga offers exceptional conditions for surfing and freeriding during the winter season - from October to March - and flatter waters with constant wind the rest of the year. Beginners will appreciate the ideal crosswind and flat waters on the lagoon side, 5 minutes from the camp (zodiac or 4×4 transfer), an ideal place to learn and for those who want to progress.
THE VILLAGE
The village of Lassarga is a fishing village. It symbolizes Moroccan authenticity and is located right next to our ecolodge. Here you can watch the fishermen passing by in their boats typical of southern Morocco, day after day until late at night. Given the waves, they are the first real surfers in this area - long before us!

In front of the island of Mogador, the sand and the sea, with your friends or family, for a snack at lunch, an aperitif or an evening meal, the Ocean Vagabond, our restaurant in Essaouira, invites you every day from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. to discover its Mediterranean cuisine that takes us on a journey as well as a culinary discovery. Our beautiful daily fish platters, which vary according to the market and the catch of the day, Samira's delicious pastries, but also our beers and wines, burgers, fresh salads, wood-fired pizzas, sweet and savoury tarts... are waiting for you for a moment of comfort (shaded terrace and sheltered from the wind). SURFING CONDITIONS
It is one of the most beautiful and accessible waves in Morocco. Exceptionally consistent, the Lassarga wave develops along a sandy point at the end of the Dakhla peninsula. The offshore wind makes this wave glassy and endlessly long, requiring a walk back along the beach. The wave is slow and gradual according to the sections and according to the tides..
SURROUNDINGS / REGION
Lassarga is the favorite spot of wing foil! Optimal conditions for practicing this sport whether in flat water or in the waves. The spot is quite scalable depending on the season, wing foilers will find what they are looking for, whether they are wave rider apprentices or experts!
