ABOUT THE SURF CAMP
CAMP OPERATOR
Christina Varveris, IKO-Level2 instructor, Swiss / Greek, succumbed to the 2007 kite virus. At that time she was a journalist. After a language stay in Cartagena announced her job in Switzerland and moved to where it is always hot and it has a sea. Together with her partner she founded "En Colombia Kitesurf", since March 2015 she is self-employed with "Pure Kitesurf".
ACCOMMODATION AND CATERING
ACCOMMODATION
One night in Puerto Colombia, the second night in Riohacha and the other 3 in Cabo de la Vela, in the bungalow right on the beach.

SAFARI COURSE DETAILS
Day 1: 1h drive to Puerto Velero - Kitesurfing, Overnight in Puerto Colombia (10min drive)
Day 2: 5h drive to Camarones - kitesurfing, overnight in Riohacha (near the beach)
Day 3: 3h drive to Cabo de la Vela - kiting, overnight in bungalow right on the beach
Day 4: Kitesurfing in Cabo de la Vela, whole day
Day 5: Kitesurfing in Cabo de la Vela, full day (excursion to Pilon de Azucar if interested)
Day 6: 9h drive back to Cartagena
We can arrange the safari to your liking. For example, if you only want to go to Cabo de la Vela, we go directly there, the price stays the same.

SURF CONDITIONS
1st Spot: Puerto Velero: shallow water, offshore wind but it's safe there like a lagoon. Sometimes a bit gusty. 2nd Spot: Camarones: Wavy, lonely beach, sideshore wind 3rd Spot: Cabo Beach (Cabo de la Vela): flat, offshore wind, lonely (only we kite there), boat support, beautiful sunsets.
SURROUNDINGS / REGION
What else can you do besides surfing?
Learn Spanish in the mornings, kite in the afternoons. This is called sporty educational leave! We cooperate with the Spanish School Centro Catalina.
