The Rapa Nui Surf Camp Bungalows and Apartments are situated in a lovely blooming resort right next (ca. 80m) to one of the most beautiful sandy beaches of the Canary Islands. You will wake up and start the day to the sound of the ocean. Close by you will find our Boardriders Bar & Shop, which is the meeting point and center for all surfers. The bungalows and apartments are next to each other, so you can plan the-after-surf-course-activities with other camp guests, if you like. All bungalows, apartments contain a bedroom, living room with integrated kitchen, bathroom and terrace or balcony. The internal equipment comprises a TV, microwave, oven, toaster and coffee machine. Bed linen and towels are included as well and are cleaned regularly. Restaurants, supermarkets, other bars and countless sports activities are close by as well. The bungalows, apartments are only available with self-catering, but breakfast and snacks (tapas, pizza, cake) are waiting for you in our Boardriders Bar, rounded up with amazing sea view of the Atlantic Ocean. Our surf instructors (I.S.A.-licensed and trained beach lifeguards) start daily with our vans to the best surf spot in the south of the island (max. 10-15 min. driving). Daily lessons all year round, so you can join in on any day you like best. Every instructor takes a maximum group of 8 students for the 3 hours of the course and daily chooses the surf spot that fits the surfing level of his student’s best. Additionally, video analysis will be offered as well as your personal surfing video filmed by a Go-Pro camera that is mounted on your board. The complete equipment, accident insurance plus a participation certificate and shuttle services from the camp to the surf spot of the day are included.

The Rapa Nui Surf Camp is successfully since 2007 in Fuerteventura! Founded by Daniel Senda and Andreas Rese who know the island for over 15 years. Only the best service for our guests is good enough and so we can continue to successfully pass!

ACCOMMODATION TYPES

We offer two types of accommodation. First our bungalows Bahia Calma (for 2-3 pers.) The bungalows are fully equipped and contain of a comfortable bed room with double bed, an elegant bathroom, a quaint kitchen, a big living room with additional sleeping couch, satellite TV, speed wifi and a large terrace or balcony. The bungalow resort lies within an 80 meter walking distance of the vast sandy beach of Costa Calma and is surrounded by numerous swimming pools! You'll be relieved to hear nothing but the gentle waves of the ocean at night, as our bungalows are situated in a quiet corner of the town of Costa Calma, away from loud music and late night parties. Parking for your personal car is available free of charge directly in front of your bungalow. Just a stone's throw away from your accommodation, you will find different restaurants, bars, supermarkets, as well as our very own Boardriders Bar and Surf Shop. At the Boardriders Bar you can enjoy a wholesome breakfast in the morning or a tasteful cocktail in the evening with all the other surfers while taking in the beautiful Atlantic Ocean scenery.
Our apartments Casa Catalina: The apartments are located in the same resort as our bungalows. Each apartment can accommodate up to 2 people and consists a bedroom, living room with kitchenette and balcony. Of course, the kitchen is also fully equipped with everything for self cooking. WiFi and satellite TV is naturally present in every apartment and bungalow.

Self catering! There are the best restaurants in Costa Calma and a large supermarket just around the corner of the camp! Our own Boardriders Bar offer a big surfers breakfast and small snacks for our clients.

Individual mentoring and a lot of fun is, besides the security of the students, our top priority.
Within the courses you will surf on latest Softech, Pukas Indio Surfboards range. Deeply assure you the latest technology concerning wetsuits and surfing clothes. Our surf courses are run professionally and will be divided according to the surfing level of the students, beginning with starter courses up to improvers, intermediates or advanced level courses. All courses comprise a maximum group of 8 students per instructor and a total of 3 hours of surfing time at the best spot of the day. If you are not sure which course you should participate in, no problem!! Who is advanced, who is beginner – the barrier of the different levels are merging into each other.
Our instructors will watch you – and then will divide the groups according to the surfing level, so everyone will get the support and help he needs.....everything to have more fun while surfing.

Our surf-courses begin daily at a pre-arranged time so that you can start at any day you like. Dependent on tides and wave forecast the surf courses are done at the best waves in the south of Fuerteventura in groups with a maximum of 8 students per instructor for around 4 hours. Our highly qualified surfing instructors pick each surf spot for the day's best conditions, so that our students are always schooled in the best surf possible concerning their level and progression. All of your surfing equipment (surf board, wetsuit, leash etc.), as well as accident insurance and a free shuttle service from your hotel to the surf spot of the day and back, are included in the surf course package. As a part of the Rapa Nui experience, students have the option to have video analysis (up from 5 days) included in their learning experience and, if you like, we can even attach a Go-Pro camera onto your surfboard so you can shoot your own session on video!

Beginner course:
With a lot of practice time and exciting theory, you will learn how to surf whitewater waves in knee-deep water.
Intermediate course:
A fast take-off and special techniques to cross the wave breaking zone will be taught as well as paddling onto and surf along the face of a green wave.
Advanced course:
Right paddle techniques, positioning in the line-up and surfing steeper waves are the goals.
Private course:
Developed for special needs, your own personal surf instructor will teach you the right techniques and new moves with individual methods and a lot of patience.
