We have run our surf school and surf shop since the first master plan for Cold Hawaii was written in the backoffice of the shop by Rasmus Johnsen. We are still as stoked as we were at the beginning and we are proud of all the water sports dreams we have fueled along the way.

ABOUT THE SURF CAMP

LOCATION AND SURF CONDITIONS

Beginner and continuation lessons

In beginner lessons, we go through everything from the beginning and get you started with surfing. In continuing lessons, we build on that and help you progress. If you have some or a lot of experience, we recommend our private lessons where we can immerse ourselves in what you are specifically looking for help with.

Children's course

On a children's course, each child must be accompanied by an adult (min. 18 years old), who must join the water as assistance. The adult only assists and does not surf himself. The adult comes along for free of course and is provided with a wetsuit etc.

Day Camp

For you who want to keep your equipment for the rest of the day and enjoy a free hour in our wood-fired sauna with a panoramic view of the North Sea.

CAMP CHARACTER

Pro tuition

+60,000 happy customers since 2005 don't lie. Our trained instructors are certified lifeguards and trained in first aid. Your safety in our learning environment is always the first priority.

Online Course

Surf Pro is the only one to offer an online course. When you buy an online course, it is possible to skip the school and instead go directly to the shops and rent equipment. Our online course is the ultimate teaching course where you get all the information you need to get started with the sport both in theory and in practice.

Changing Course Info

Please always keep an eye on your email as the course location or time can be changed up to three hours before the course starts. Changes may occur due to weather conditions and to ensure you have the best possible experience.

Day Camp

If you book a surf or SUP lesson, you can upgrade to our Day Camp. For DKK 200, a Day Camp gives you access to Surf, SUP and Neoprene for the rest of the day. In addition, it includes an hour in our wood-fired sauna with a panoramic view of the North Sea.

Water sports school info

At our water sports school, it is important to us that there is time for the individual student. It is therefore important that you turn up 15 minutes before for surf lessons and 30 minutes before windsurfing, wingsurfing and SUP lessons. Then we have time to get started. Our surfing, wingsurfing, windsurfing and SUP lessons include a free online course. It is important that you watch the online course before your lesson. Then you are well prepared. ACCOMMODATION AND CATERING

ACCOMMODATION TYPES

You will stay at our Guesthouse like a hotel. This means that there are duvets, pillows, sheets and towels for all guests included in the price. At the Guesthouse, in addition to your room, there is a large covered lounge area and a large terrace where you can enjoy the view of the dunes while Klitmøller Å trickles by. In addition, there is a well-equipped shared kitchen where you can cook.

SURF MATERIALS

Water sports and free equipment

At our surf camp, you can freely choose whether you want to surf, wingsurf, windsurf or SUP in the included lessons. In addition, you have free access to surf and SUP equipment as well as boogie boards, skim boards, skateboards and neoprene in both Klitmøller and Vorupør.

Denmark's largest selection

Surf Pro has Denmark's largest selection of beginner and pro equipment for both surf, wingsurf, windsurf and stand up paddle.

Flexible renting

Surf Pro is the only one in Cold Hawaii that offers a flexible rental. We have stations in both Klitmøller and Vorupør where you can pick up and bring equipment to both places when you rent from us.

Right at the beach

Our stations in Klitmøller and Vorupør are right at the beach to the North Sea. It does not get any easier.

10 hours flex

Surf Pro also offers a 10 hour flex cutting card. This way you can completely control when you want to go on the water if 3 hours or a whole day at a time is too much.

SURF CONDITIONS

Duration
Our surf lessons last 2 hours. The meeting time is always 15 minutes before the start of the course. When you show up for a course, you check-in inside the store, and then we make sure that you get the equipment and get started. The instructor starts each lesson by explaining the schedule for the lesson and questions are always very welcome.

Water time
After changing to wetsuit and handing out boards, you go with the instructor to the beach, where there will be safety instructions, theory and warm-up before we jump into the waves. You can expect to be on the water for 1-1.5 hours.

Wave & Weather Policy
We do not cancel due to a lack of waves, but instead we take out the surfboards (or SUP) and enjoy the quiet North Sea. Here we spend more time on basic surf theory. The instructors are still ready to provide a good experience.
