The island of Boa Vista is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and best conditions for water sports of the 13 islands of Cape Verde located about 500-600 km in front of the North African coast of Dakar, about 1000 kilometers south of the Canary Islands.   This incredible location is blessed with vast expanses of untouched golden sand, surrounded by crystal clear waters and boasting a relaxed and low-key atmosphere in harmony with Cape Verde’s atmosphere.   Cape Verdeans are a very simple people, friendly and conversational, the hospitality of these people is impressive, Morabeza means affability, kindness, gentleness. “Where there is morabeza, there is longing.   The place is ideal for those looking to escape the cold of Europe during the winter and practice sea sports. If you like good fish you are in paradise. The fish is fresh caught every day in our bay. You definitely can’t find any fresher fish than here.

Our center is located on Praia do Estoril, next to the giant dune next door to the Bahia restaurant and about 10 minutes walk from the center of Sal Rei, a paradise with crystal clear waters, a beach with fine golden sand and a turquoise sea. make this place unforgettable.

To ensure your comfort in Boavista we recommend that you stay in an apartment in Vila de Sal Rei so you can take advantage of the various services available such as markets, restaurants, pharmacy etc. You will also be close to our center and you can go home quickly and if necessary to grab something, eat or relax and at the same time monitor the wind situation and not miss the best wind period.

Apartments located next to Estoril beach, with everything you need to enjoy a magnificent holiday on the island of Boa Vista, all apartments are located approximately 300 to 500 meters from our centers, so you can go home and relax when you wait for the next session of wind.

Vilas na areia is an aparthotel made up of 6 independent apartments. Heavenly setting, quiet and relaxing. With 630 square meters of sand, the outdoor area offers you tables with umbrellas, deck chairs and everything you need to spend a fantastic holiday. You are welcome.

Book your accommodation, we have a wide range of apartments to satisfy want you need during your stay in Boa Vista. The apartments are equipped with everything and are located in Sal Rei or on Estoril beach near our center.

We just need to know the type of apartment you want, the number of people and the dates of your stay to suggest you suitable accommodation.

The airport transfer service is included, our taxi driver will take you to the apartment and give  all the information you need for your holiday such what you have to do during your stay, where to buy the best local products or the best restaurants to eat in the Vila of Sal Rei, then you can finally go to our center.

SURF CAMP

Our surf camp service is an excellent option for those looking for a full service with airport transfers, half board service that includes breakfast and dinner with good fresh fish caught on the day, if you are a vegetarian or vegan we also provide this type of meals, you can choose between a pack of lessons or rental of windsurf, kitesurf, Wingfoil, stand up paddle or surf.

Coming to our camp you will not only have amazing food and professional lessons but also you can enjoy everyday camp as you cosy summer home.

Six breakfasts and six dinners are included.

For breakfast in Cape Verde, you can’t miss cachupa stew accompanied by a fried egg and chorizo  “from the land ” and couscous a traditional cake, made with corn flour, papaya jam and a cup of coffee to keep your batteries charged.

Our meals are served in the best restaurants of Sal Rei  you can enjoy the excellent Cape Verdean cuisine is the result of centuries of African, Creole and Portuguese influences, the basis of its gastronomy lies in fresh ingredients of local origin, the islands are rich in fruits and vegetables Papaya, bananas, sweet potatoes, beans, corn are often used to make traditional dishes. Fresh fish and seafood are abundant on the islands and are the basis of many delicious dishes and Cape Verdean sweets are a temptation for dessert lovers.

Kitesurfing classes in front of our spot are only possible in semi-private or private due to the offshore wind conditions, classes are always accompanied by the boat, group classes are only possible in Ponta António, an onshore wind spot with perfect conditions for this type of class.

Wingfoil classes for beginners due to offshore wind conditions are always accompanied by the boat, intermediate and advanced levels can be accompanied by the boat or the instructor on other equipment to exemplify the maneuvers, this method greatly facilitates teaching.

Group windsurfing classes due to offshore wind conditions are always accompanied by the boat, semi-private or private classes of all levels can be accompanied by the boat or the instructor can use other equipment to demonstrate the maneuvers, this method greatly facilitates teaching.

SURF MATERIALS

---

Our surf center offers the latest surf gear of  Flowt Surfboards, variety of soft and rigid boards and Dakine accessories for different sizes and needs. If the waves changes you can change your board during your session.

After your surf session the equipment must be  with care and returned to the center. Please note that in case of breaking or damaging the equipment you will have to pay for the repairs.

SURF CONDITIONS

---

This place offers perfect conditions for kitesurfing, wingfoil or windsurfing from November until the end of April, the trade winds from the north-northeast (NNE) with speeds between 15 and 30 that stabilize from 11 am and lose intensity around 5 p.m., make this a prime destination for practitioners of all disciplines looking for consistent and reliable wind.   Baia is a magnificent spot with offshore wind, depending on the conditions we can have flat water or waves, the location is perfect with swells at the waist or shoulder when you can enter and exit from the sea safely.   If you are looking for an easy wave to ride in any modality, almost in front of our center we have a reef with a perfect wave up to your waist or shoulder, an excellent option where you can do some maneuvers with the side wind off.   If you want a heavier wave Leoa is perfect located 900 meters from our center it is a right that is divided into 3 sections you don’t need to go over the shore break just go out through the channel to get to the outside.   On days with more swell when the safety boats cannot enter the sea due the big waves and  the very aggressive shore break, we will take you to the best spots around the island with our experienced guides, they know the best spot each day depending  the wind direction or swell.
