Abu Soma Riders kiteboarding center located in Egypt, Soma Bay, 48 km south of Hurghada International Airport. Kite spot based at the beach of Beach Club Albatros. CAMP CHARACTER
Soma Bay is one of the best spots in the world for kitesurfing. The spectacular bay offers year-round fantastic flat-water conditions, pristine beaches, and perfect side-onshore and side-shore winds ranging from 4 to 8 Bft. Water sports are particularly popular due to the prevailing winds which are perfect for kitesurfing, windsurfing and sailing. Abu soma riders kiteboarding is the most important water sports center in Soma Bay.

3 days beginner full course (7.5 hours) Price: 390€ This kitesurfing course (7.5 hours) is for complete beginners, who want to learn kitesurfing in 2-3 days of lessons. You will have 2 kite lessons per day (morning/afternoon) by 1.5-2.5 hours each (depend on the wind and your physical training). Beginner kitesurfing course devide on 3 parts: kite control (weather, wind theory, equipment, safety systems, piloting the kite) body drag (swimming with kite) water start (getting up on the board and riding first meters)

Soma bay hosts year-round sunshine, temperate weather, and mild winters and summers. Daytime temperatures average in the mid to low 20º C in winter and the low 30º C in summer. Why is Somabay’s climate so ideal? Somabay is blessed with dry desert winds which keep humidity levels low and maintain maximum mean temperatures. As a result, Somabay is comfortable year-round, even in summer with less heat and humidity than other resort destinations such as the Mediterranean Coast or Sinai.

Soma Bay’s location is ideally situated on the eastern shores of Egypt on the Red Sea coast just 30 minutes by car from Hurghada International Airport. Only 4 hours flight from Central Europe, the ten million square meters, self-contained community of Soma bay is surrounded on all sides by the sea. The resort location boasts some of the most beautiful sandy beaches of the Red Sea and panoramic views of desert mountains. With Luxor only 240 kilometers away by road, same day excursions to the Valley of the Kings, Karnak & Luxor Temples and all that the ancient city has to offer are easily done by car or bus.

During this kitesurfing course you will get only a basic knowledges and practice, to get to the next level (bodydrag and waterstart) continue with beginner 3 days course or book 2.5 - 5 hours more. What you are going to learn: kite control (weather, wind theory, equipment, safety systems, piloting the kite)

3 days beginner full course (7.5 hours) Price: 300€ That's a perfect option for a group of friends, couples, families, who want to learn kitesurfing together.
