Whether you just wanna learn to stand up or get absolutly shacked out your mind at any one of the many many breaks Rodrigo will make it happen. Rodrigo is an absolute first class dude more then willing to make sure your stay is everything you want plus Floripa is really SAFE!! .

Perfect Surf location! The accommodations are two bedroom apartments just 2 minutes walking to Joaquina beach 10 minutes drive to Praia Mole in one direction and 05 minutes the other way to Praia Campeche. Rodrigo was a great host picking us up at the airport and helping us at grocery store and getting to the apartment. He is very relaxed. Definitely make him make you some smoothies for breakfast from fresh fruit and have a barbeque with awesome brazilian meat. At night he will show you around the island and tells you which club/bar is the best. "My friend and I recently spent five days in Florianopolis with Rodrigo and friends. We had a blast despite bad weather and eventually learned to stand up on a surf board. The surf instructor Roger was great with us and gave us a lot of extra time. Overall this is the perfect vacation location and great price. Yes Rodrigo has paid me to write this, but not too much so I speak only the truth. just kidding guys... you will have fun with this guys!" Location is good and inside the apartment is decent and clean with kitchen and tv with lots of surf videos. A rental car really is a must on the island and it is easy to drive.

Excellent beaches, excellent nightlife, and excellent people! Florianopolis is an amazing island that should be a definite stop for all travelers of Brazil, especially surfers. The four days I spent there were definitely a highlight of my three-week trip.And when I return to Florianopolis, I definitely plan to book with brazilsurfingadventure again. Rodrigo was an excellent host. He coordinated everything we needed for our stay including a rental car, surf lessons, and accomodations. . I have no complains. If you go, definitely request to have a barbecue at his house and go to the Confraria. . Excellent beaches, excellent nightlife, and excellent people. It was a definite advantage to have his local perspective on the best restaurants, surf spots, and nightlife spots

Will be definitly visiting again! Really enjoyed my stay with Brazil Surfing Adventure. Rodrigo really makes an effort to ensure you have a great stay and is very accommodating. The breakfasts are great if you like it health, fresh fruit smoothies daily. Good advice and guide for all the beaches in and around Florianopolis. If you are after something more real, this is a great option. I had a great time and will definitely be visiting again when I get the chance. . .

Looking forward to come again! Obrigado! I will never forget the 5 days I spend at BSA. From the reservation to even after the trip, Rodrigo had always the right answer on the rigt time to my questions and wishes. Great service, but not "intrusive" at all, so I could feel totally free to do what I want whenever I want, just rip myself out of my bed have a great brazilian breakfast and jump to Joaquinha beach, or drive around and discover all the beauty and the best spots of the island and around. Believe me, there are some...those 5 days were just not enough. . !! Looking forward to come again ! Obrigado Rodrigo !!"

Amazing Vacation! We very much enjoyed Rodrigo's surf camp, Shiva's visits and cuddling needs, and of course the daily brasilian coffee! With Rodrigo's help we got to surf, wakeboard, sandboard and to enjoy delicious dinners at local restaurants (we will never forget the chocolate pizza (and we ar Swiss) and the seafood and brasilian buffets). Rodrigo offer to take us to a international surfing contest in Praia da Vila was a great plus and a lot of fun. We learned that the Brasilialns can party even in the pouring rain and that glow worms even glow when it's wet. Unfortunately we only got to see the BBQ place in the making and know that it was built with a lot of dedication (of course only if the sun was shining). The sun is still shining for us when we think back to our Floripa vacation! Thank you for your hospitality and let us know when you plan a snowboard trip to Switzerland :-) . .

I will be back! Through Rodrigo's leadership, BSA made sure that my trip to Floripa was memorable. With his local knowledge of prevailing surf & wind conditions, he made sure we were in the water at the right place and right time each day.
If you don't want to drive for surf, from your villa you can simply walk down to BSA's local beach at the end of the road which is an expansive beachbreak (no buildings for at least a mile in either direction!) with countless peaks to choose from and very few people Additionally, BSA's villas are conveniently locate to be able to access Floripa's best beaches and nightlife with ease. . I will be back.

Florianopolis is famous for extreme sports. Its geography favors that since the island has 42 beaches, sand dunes, lagoons, waterfalls and many hills.
You have endless opportunities. Surfing, kitesurfing, stand up paddle or SUP, windsurfing, wakeboarding, sandboarding, paragliding, hangliding, horseriding, rockclimbing, mountainbiking are the most practiced in this paradise.
SAND BOARDING
There are sand dunes all around Florianopolis, but the most famous is close to Joaquina beach and it was named after a famous Hawaiian wave: Waimea. One side is a very fast drop; the other offers different angles of slope for different skills or guts. Boards are similar to snowboards and can be rented at the bottom of the dunes for about U$ 2 for a few hours, which is more than enough since the only way back up is walking.
PARAGLIDING
When the wind is not so strong and usually onshore the sky shows different colors. Just look up the hills and you will see dozens of paraglides making their way through each other. It is by far the best way to see the area’s natural beauty. Even better is to land at Praia Mole beach, for example, and discover why this beach is so famous and where so many beautiful people come from. Several schools offer double flights for about U$ 25.
WAKEBOARDING
Lagoa da Conceicao is where most of the wake boarders have their fun in Florianopolis. Early mornings and at the end of the day when the wind is calmer and the water glassier its common to drive by the road that circles the lagoon and see wake boarders pulling their tricks. Boats and equipment are available for rent in this area.

Besides learning and practicing sports in the beautiful Island of Santa Catarina – Florianópolis – you may be intereseted in learning the language – Portuguese – so that you can take the opportunity and experience the Brazilian tradition culture, music, people, dancing, fine arts, history, geography, culinary delights and much more.. for all that we have the ideal program for you. Brazil Surfing Adventure is proud to arrange Portuguese classes with a teacher who has 39 year(she is 53 now, but still young in spirit) of experience teaching Portuguese as a foreign language. It is an one-to-one or small-group course designed for each person’s needs, weaknesses and strengths, based on practical and direct approach where grammar, reading and writing are just the natural consequence. The teacher’s first goal is to build the student’s confidence along with a worry-free attitude to go out and try the language. She has developed her own method which allows her to teach all nationalities, even when there is no common language between her and her students. By learning Portuguese your experiences will be much more enjoyable. Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced students are all welcome to learn Portuguese with BSA.
