In Cumbuco you can kite almost every day of the year. The best months are from June till January where the wind is blowing almost every day. This makes Cumbuco to one of the best kite spots in the world to learn kitesurfing. We offer you a secured way of learning how to kitesurf. Even if you come between February and May the wind guarantee is about 65 %.

CAMP CHARACTER

We are a small kiteschool like this we can teach a better way with small group with a maximum of 2 students for 1 instructor! For sure you learn faster this way and after 10 - 12 hours you will be riding on the board.

All rooms are equipped with comfortable large beds and modern amenities in providing you with the necessary comforts we all appreciate. With a large balcony and a hammock, it is a ideal place to relax with your favorite novel in the tranquility of a tropical garden full of fragrant flowers.

- We teach you everything about the equipment.
- We teach you how to start and land a kite.
- We teach you how to pilot and control a kite.
- We teach you the first steps in the water which is called  " Bodydrag ".
- We teach you the waterstart and how to get on the board and ride.
- We teach you how to do the self rescue!
- We teach you how to ride safely!

All our staff is very safety conscious, we train according to strict standards, a qualified instructor will always be with you and all of our kites are equipped with safety systems. As a student you will always be wearing a helmet and floatation vest for increased safety.

SURF CONDITIONS

---

In Cumbuco there is the southeast tradewind and it blows relatively constant with up to 30 knots the whole year. If you head further north it can reach also 40 knots while in the south it is normally less.
From June till January is the best time to come to Cumbuco and there is wind almost every day. Expect from 15 to 30 knots!
From February till May the weather still can be very good but you should bring bigger kites as the wind normally is lighter.

Activities and facilities
You can find find some small restaurants in Cumbuco. The next bigger town is Fortaleza, where you can find a lot of other restaurants, shopping and cultural facilities.

This package includes:
- 6 night accommodation in a quadruple room (prices differ according to room type choice)
- Breakfast 
- A/C
- 6 group surf lessons (each one hour) (you pay 130 Reais for one hour)
- Equipment included
- You can book additional surf lessons for an extra charge of 95 Reais per hour

A complete course will be 10 hours for 1200 Reais (Private Lesson 1 instructor - 1 student)
If it is a group lesson it will be 900 Reais per student with 1 instructor for 2 -3 students!

If it is a group lesson it will be 900 Reais per student with 1 instructor for 2 -3 students!
