LOCATION AND SURF CONDITIONS
Trabucador Beach
Trabucador Beach is located in Sant Carles de la Rápita (Tarragona) and is approximately 6.5 kilometers long. It's a fantastic kite spot for water sports, especially for learning and progressing in kitesurfing.
Kitesurfing on Trabucador is perfect , as it allows sailing on both sides. What does this mean? Being a sandbar, on one side you have the beach and on the other the so-called Bay of Alfacs (Alfaques) , an inhospitable place with clear, unspoiled waters, where you can find a multitude of species, aquatic birds, birds of prey, the most emblematic and friendly being the flamingos . It is a paradise for ornithology enthusiasts.
Kitesurfing is available year-round at Trabucador Beach , with designated areas for beginners and schools . It's considered one of the easiest beaches to learn kitesurfing, as much of the lagoon's interior is shallow, making it easy for beginners to learn, providing a great deal of security and confidence.
Fortunately, between April and September, the prevailing winds are generally southerly, between 12 and 20 knots . From October to March, northerly winds are the most popular for small kites, typically ranging from 18 to 30 knots.
We sail year-round, and the temperature rarely drops below 8 degrees in winter. It also offers a variety of restaurants, hotels, and rural cottages, offering sailors a good choice of accommodation in this area. Riumar Beach
Riumar Beach is located on the left bank of the Ebro River , about 18 km from the Trabucador kitesurfing spot, in an urbanized but well-maintained area. It belongs to the municipality of Deltebre , within the province of Tarragona, and is 10 km from this town. It is 2.6 km long and 150 meters wide.
There are several beach bars connected by large wooden walkways that protect the natural sand dunes. After your kitesurfing session in Riumar , it's a perfect place to relax and discuss typical kitesurfing activities, have a drink, or even eat.
It is a spot more focused on winter, although in summer it also offers you some days of sailing.
The prevailing winds are from the North and blow quite strongly almost every day from mid- September through April . They also blow during the rest of the year, but with less probability. We highlight El Spot Riumar , where we sail in the open sea. Natural lagoons form near the mouth of the River , where sailing is completely flat and is perfect for kiters who are learning due to the safety it offers. Enjoy our Riumar kite school all year round.
A good wave for kitesurfers and freestylers who prefer flat swells is very close to the lagoon area. Most visitors can surf both spots, Riumar and Trabucador, since they are located about 15 km apart. Generally, access to the surfing areas is near perfect.

We have fully equipped one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments with everything you need to make your stay during the course as pleasant as possible and tailored to your needs. We're also available for families and groups of friends.
The "Deltapartments" are located in San Carles de la Rápita or surrounding areas, but very close to the Spots for greater comfort and movement of our students.
All accommodations have a bathroom, shower, kitchen, living room , and the necessary accessories to make your stay in the Ebro Delta a unique experience and to ensure you'll return to us in the future. This is our goal, and we always strive to pursue our passion: kitesurfing .
We also offer options we call "Delta Offers ." These are for our students who book a Kitesurfing, Paddlesurfing, or Hydrofoil course and stay in one of our Delta Apartments . Best of all, they're available year-round.

SURF MATERIALS
