The urban hostel is located in Gijon, on the most beautiful cities in Asturias. To get to know the city without having to travel by car we have several  suggestions:

By the bike lane that passes by just in front the the urban hostel, you will be able to get to the centre and the historical old town in 5 minutes.
Walking along the beautiful maritime city’s pathway you can reach the city centre in no more than 15 minutes.

The Urban Hostel
Located in the best area of Gijón, 150m from the beach and only separated from it by a green area ideal for relaxing. It is thought for the lovers of the beach, the nature or the sports of slide and it is totally conditioned so that you enjoy your stay of individual form, in pair or in group.

Gijón Surf Hostel offers you a modern house with very well cared for details. These are the corners you will find:

First floor
It consists of a large lounge where you can relax on its comfortable sofas, have a drink in the minibar, meet people from all over the world and interact with other people staying in the hostel. It also has two huge terraces, a toilet and a fully equipped communal kitchen.

Second floor
There are four rooms distributed throughout this floor, with a maximum occupancy of four people, of which 3 have views of the sea and the other to the mountains. It also has two spacious bathrooms, one with jacuzzi and a terrace overlooking the mountains.

Third floor
Here you will find a small living room with sea views, a bathroom and two attic rooms with sea and mountain views.

Outdoor spaces
The urban hostel has a large garden where you can do many outdoor activities: from learning to pour cider, sunbathe in solarium area with hammocks, make a barbecue, relax in the lounge area, play ping-pong, watch movies in the summer cinema, improve your balance in the highline installed and many more surprises you will discover during your stay.

Ground floor
On this floor is the largest room, for groups of up to eight people. It also has two independent bathrooms, a large dining room and a large kitchen equipped with everything you need to develop your culinary skills. this floor can be rented in its entirety for groups as it can be considered an independent apartment within the urban hostel.

Full Board

As well as a free  buffet breakfast included in your lodging, we also offer full board accommodation. Enjoy the best dinners and meals based on healthy menus and at the same time traditional, that allow you to try the Asturian gastronomy, valued both here and outside our region. We offer various menus arranged by different restaurants from our city, neighbouring prestigious restaurants or from restaurants in the centre of the city.

The full board service, will be a supplement of 20 euros/day.

Store your food and cook at the Hostel

If you prefer to economise regarding meals we also provide use of fridges, freezers and cupboards to keep your food. We have two fully equipped kitchens with all appliances at your disposal.

At the Surf school that is part of the urban hostel, we offer different courses and activities relationed with surfing. Each course lasts around 2 hours and a half (30 mins equipment preparation – 2 hours of the course at the beach). All of our courses are taught by fully qualified instructors with vast experience.

And if you come as part of a group…let us know! We offer special discounts!

We also have class vouchers available.

And we also hire out equipment, with very competitive prices.

If you arrive by plane and would like a lift, don’t hesitate to ask us. We have two minibuses with space for 8 and 9 people.

Just in front of the urban hostel there is free public car park with more that 100 parking spots to leave your vehicle during your stay, without any worry.
