my stay at INDASURF first and foremost, I love INDASURF. While I was staying there and learning surfing, all staffs were super kind and made me felt like I was in home. Then surf coach, Indra, he taught me a lot about the sea and waves. so I could learn how to respect them in a positive way. specially I like his soft charisma! I highly recommend to get along with INDASURF, if you guys visit Bali to learn surf. I still miss Hugo, Indra and their lovely offspring, Shopie^^

INDASURF BALI Everything was great! in da surf It is my first time to visit Bali and I am very pleased to meet Hugo and Indra from Inda Surf. They are so friendly and lovel. I got a surf lesson for five days from Indra and stayed in Surfer's House for two weeks. Indra is a really nice local instructor. He encouraged me all the time and taught noy only surfing but attitude of mind how I respect the waves. The video also helped me to know my position. I highly recommend Inda Surf and Surfer's house. Had the best time in Bali Just got back from Bali and had the best time surfing with Indra and Hugo. I booked four days of intermediate lessons and they really helped me get from beginner to the next level. The guys were really patient with me and helped me pick the good waves, while also listening to me when I didn't feel confident. They also took video footage to show me where I was going wrong. Has really helped my technique. I have come back feeling like a real surfer now.They also took my friends out who had never surfed and made them feel at ease, even when they felt nervous. Really nice, chilled out and funny guys. I will be back for sure!!

best surfing experience They take very good quality photos and videos for you if you get package lesson :) highly recommended I and my wife, with very little surfing experience, got 5 surfing lessons from Indra. On the first day, it was really hard to just paddle out in the Canggu`s big waves but Indra encouraged us to be relaxed and keep going. After 2 more days, we could stay in the water for straight 2hours and manage to ride on the waves. Indra was a really genuine but laid-back instructor who knows the Canngu area really well as he`s real local surfer from Bali. His feedback helped me a lot to improve my surfing. We learned not only surfing skill but attitude of how we confront the waves and surfing itself. After we finished the lesson, we could enjoy surfing in Batu bolong point by ourselves even in the big wave days without much hassles. highly recommended!!!

totally recommendable! Surfers House is a real home & Surf lessons were awesome! I stayed in Surfers House in my 1rst week in Bali, i was really really happy with my decision to book surf and stay! I just had 6 surflesson in a row with Indra and Moks as instructors and shared surfing and lesson with really nice other people from all over the world. I felt really comfortable and safe with Indra and Moks in the water and improved a lot my little surfing experiences! They give u after every wave an advice and motivate and support you, when your arms won’t paddle any deeper or stronger We checked out different spots to surf too, so that we didn’t got stuck in our ‚comfortzone’ and got chance to see different breaks. A funny ride back home in the car and video analysis in the end of every lesson completeted the surfing and motivated you for the next day. Finally the Surfers House with Hugo, Indra and the whole lovely staff is a really warm place with really good and chilled out atmosphere, a beautiful garden and comfy outdoor couches, fullfilled with good people who like to hang out togehter and enjoy Canggu life and surfing! best decision We stumbled upon In Da Surf while walking around Canggu our 2nd day in Bali, so happy we did! We popped in for lessons and they were welcoming and helpful right away. We surfed with them a total of 4 days. Being beginners we were nervous but it worked out great, we learned so much and had a ton of fun! So much fun we ended up coming back to Canggu just for a couple more lessons. Indra and other guides were awesome and we felt safe at all times, everyone was really knowledgeable and made sure to explain the waves and breaks prior to paddle out. We didn't stay at the surf house but all other people we surfed with raved about it! We definitely recommend this place and are planning on visiting again!! Thanks Indra and staff, we will be back! loved it I happened to be staying around the corner from the surf house and stopped in to ask about surfing, my only regret was I didn't stop by sooner. I ended up surfing with Indra and the guys two days, I've been surfing a handful of times in Latin America and the US and those two days really took my surfing up a few notches. Usually I just rent a board on the beach and hop in by myself, man was that not the way to do it! Indra or one of the other guys (they are all very knowledgeable and patient) will help you pick and catch the right waves, and give you as many pointers as they can from the water. They also have someone videotaping from the shore, so you can pick apart what you're doing right or wrong as soon as you get back. One day the waves nearby in Canggu were good so we went there, while another day they drove us down past Seminyak because that had the right waves that day. Each day the crew leaves at 8 AM from the house (I met there but they can pick up people staying locally) and whether it was a mix of beginners/intermediate/ Definitely check out In Da Surf if you want to learn how to surf or improve your surfing!

ABOUT THE SURF CAMP
LOCATION AND SURF CONDITIONS
Located in Canggu, one of the most popular areas for surfers in Bali, we are close to perfect waves all year long. The spots are perfect for all levels – from beginners to upper intermediates.
Our coach chooses surf spot every day according to guest level, tide and swell condition. So our guests can practice in a different type of waves and explore more breaks during their stay.
With beginner guest we often go to our home spot Batu Bolong, Old Mans or Kedungu, there are few more spots around which is less crowded. For experience guest we choose more challenging waves.
Safety is our priority, so usually, our coach checks the guest level first and then make a decision about the surf spot.

Here at In da Surf Camp we enjoy life, we like to explore and we love to surf! We are not just a place to stay, we are a family, a home, a place where guests find exactly what they want and where they experience life in the purest way.
Our camp is not big what makes it feels like home, easy to meet other like-minded travelers.
We located just 2 min away by motorbike and 15 min by foot from the surf spot Batu Bolong
and Old Man’s. Surrounded by lots of restaurant, cafe and shops we still have a quiet place at the camp to relax and enjoy Bali nature.
Our Pool Villa has a stunning rice field view. At Surfers House you can have a rest in the beautiful garden surrounded by Balinese traditional temples.

CAMP OPERATOR
In da Surf is family owned and operated surf camp. Indra was working as a surf coach for a long time and then decided to open his own camp in 2014. It's all starts with Surfers House Hostel - one of the first hostels in Canggu. Together with his wife, he wanted to create a simple, but nice place for surfers to stay. Place where you can feel like home and learn about local culture and tradition.
ACCOMMODATION AND CATERING
ACCOMMODATION TYPES
Choose from two our accommodation in Bali, Surfers House Hostel and Pool Villa.
Surfers House is a cozy and familiar hostel with three 4-bed dormitory rooms with bathroom accesses, which is located just 2 minutes driving distance from Batu Bolong and Echo beach - the main surf spots in Canggu.
Surfers House offers a small kitchen and complimentary water, tea and coffee. Each room has an AC and wi-fi. Our guests will enjoy a beautiful garden with BBQ area, mango trees, and hammocks to relax after an exciting surf session.
Around Surfers House you will find a lot of local and western style restaurants and bars which offer a huge variety of different food and hang-outs to meet locals and other travelers.
The Pool Villa offers 14 double bed and 2 twin rooms and is, therefore, the perfect accommodation for couples and families. Each room has an AC and a bathroom with hot water showers. The Pool Villa is surrounded by one of the typical beautiful rice fields of Bali and located just 2 min driving distance from Batu Bolong and Echo Beach – the main surf spots in Canggu.
A cozy green garden with an inviting pool on hot Bali days forms the center of the villa. Moreover, breakfast, water, tea and coffee are complementary as well as Wi-Fi.
CATERING
At Surfers House we serve traditional Indonesian (Fried rice or fried noodle with vegetables) and Western (egg, bacon, bread) breakfast. Both include fresh fruits bowl or juice.
At the Pool Villa we serve light buffet breakfast (Fresh fruits, toast with chocolate/butter/jam, tea and coffee).
Complimentary water, tea and coffee available all day in both accommodation.
Lunch and dinner available for order. There is also a lot of western and local cuisine restaurants around us.
SURF COURSE AND ACTIVITIES
SURF COURSE DETAILS
We offer our clients professional surfing lessons with video analysis and theory.
One coach taking care of not more than two guests to achieve the best results in a short time. There is usually not more than 6 people going together for 1 lesson.
Surf and Stay package includes 1 session per day / 2 hours in the water.
SURF MATERIALS
We have a wide range from soft top boards for beginners to short boards for advanced surfers. Our coach will help you to choose a proper board. You can also change your board during your stay depend of the progress.
All equipment is already included in our Surf & Stay package and can be used after the lesson as well.
OTHER ACTIVITIES<
We have various activities at the camp as Movie Night at Surfers House garden, Tradition Balinese workshop and BBQ parties. Sometimes we organize trip around Bali with our guests.
We have a yoga mat available for our guest at Surfers House and beautiful garden to practice yourself.
If you would like to join the yoga lesson, there is a few school around us with daily classes. We also provide our guests with 10% discount for all yoga classes in one of the school.

SURF CONDITIONS
Breaks directly at the main spot and at nearby spots
Our camp located not far from Batu Bolong and Old Man's surf spot. Both of them is semi-reef. There is a several picks for beginner and intermediate surfers.
World famous Echo Beach and Prerenan surf spot is about 5 min away by motorbike. Berawa beach - beach break, is about 7 min away by motorbike.

Bali is getting more crowded during dry season with it pick in July-September, but we still can find some spots where you will have enough waves to enjoy.

Characterization of surroundings/region
Bali is a beautiful place to stay and learn surfing. With more than 100 surf spots working through all year it’s become a surfing paradise for all levels surfers. But not only this making Bali so special.
There is a lot of places to explore. Ancient temples, breathtaking waterfalls, local festivals and traditions.
Canggu is a great place for foodies and modern art lovers. With it's fast growing Canggu still has a local village charm what makes this place very special. You can enjoy great party in one of the beach clubs or legendary Deus with various local and international musician attend, or explore rice fields with a magnificent view and local temples.

Ways to get to the camp
We do free pick-up and drop from Ngurah Rai Airport, Denpasar. If you already in Bali or will arrive here by boat or bus please contact us.
There is no public transportation available in Canggu.
Important details
To enter Indonesia, you will need a passport that is valid for at least six months. For more than 168 nationalities the visa is free on arrival and you will just receive a stamp in your passport. This Visa (actually there is no real visa, though to being Visa-free) is only valid for 30 days. The website of the Indonesian Embassy in your country will tell you which countries are affected by this. If you want to stay longer than 30 days, there is the possibility to get the paid so called “Visa-on-Arrival” (VOA), which costs 35 USD. The VOA can be extended during your stay for another 30 days, after this you will have to leave the country. Another possibility is to apply in advance for a tourist visa for 60 days at the Indonesian Embassy in your country.
