Jawa Jiwa lies at the southeastern tip of East Java. Protected by large reef shelves, that disappear into deep water troughs. Fishing in our area has to be experienced to be believed. Giant Trevally, Spanish Mackerel, and Marlin are just a few of the species of fish regularly tagged on our fishing adventures.

Your vessel is the Karang Putih, a 13m fishing boat fully equipped, with all fishing gear and amenities to ensure an enjoyable rewarding day or half-day game fishing in the surrounding waters of the Alas Purwo National Park.

Perfect Surfing Location
Situated inside a lowland tropical rainforest, Alas Purwo National Park lies on the southern most tip of East Java. G-Land Plengkung Beach in Java is home to WSL Surf League 2022. Apart from world-class surf breaks, G-Land offers all types of surfers. Perfect for beginners who want to choose surf camp to learn and increase their surfing skills or for skilled surfers as a step up to enjoy the world-class surf breaks. Jawa Jiwa is a perfect surf camp in Java for everyone.

Kongs
The farthest section of G-land at the top of the reef picking up the peak of all swells the Indian ocean offers up. A good option on smaller days.    

Money trees
The most consistently surfed section of reef breaking for hundreds of metres offering up long open faces and down the line barrels.    

Speedies
The jewel of the crown, on the right swell direction and swell speedies offers up some of best left hand barrels a surfer will ever experience    

Tiger tracks
A left & right-hander, 2 peaks, which is ideal when the swell is big, a fun wave for beginners & intermediate surfers breaks consistently daily.    

20 20s
A fun left & a great right for all the levels beginners to intermediate. It’s a long breaking wave that provides the opportunity to do a lot of turns.

Mauricio Piza have been surfing for 20+ years. He is a biologist, commercial diver, and boat captain. Trained in CPR and first aid. He will safely help your first surf steps or improve your current skills.

Mauricio Piza offers beginner lessons for those taking their first surf steps and intermediate coaching to refine skills, ensuring a safe and enriching experience for surfers of all levels.

 

Meet your wellness coach

Giuliane Vaccaro is graduated in physical therapy, she’s also Pilates instructor, cupping and dry needle therapist. She is full versed in wellness, and will bring you back to full capacity after your hard surf sessions.

After a challenging day of surfing, Giuliane assesses your condition and recommends the best option for rejuvenation, whether it’s cupping, dry needling, Pilates, tapping therapy, or postural correction therapy, ensuring you’re ready to perform your best the next day.
