Kiteboarding is a surface water sport that combines many aspects of wakeboarding, snowboarding, windsurfing, surfing, paragliding, skateboarding and gymnastics. Every kiteboarder harnesses the power of wind with a controllable power kite that propelles him/her across the water on a kiteboard. Similar to a wakeboard or a small surfboard, you can kite with or without footstraps or bindings depending your level and ride preference.
Kitesurfing is a style of kiteboarding specific to wave riding, which utilizes standard surfboards or boards shaped specifically for the purpose.

For all of you wishing to learn how to Kitesurf or to improve your Kitesurfing skills, our center offers a vast lesson program for you to choose from. All our Kitesurfing lessons are given by certified instructors only and are offered in several different languages.
Our Center in Ialysos is equipped with a wide range of North sail Kiteboarding gear. So, no matter which rental option you choose, you will always have the choice of several different boards and kites to use.
Changing your gear during the day is made easy, since our kite center is situated directly on the main kite beach. So, whenever you feel the need of trying a different kite or board, just swing back in and test a different combination.
Our instructors will be more than happy to help you finding the perfect setup for the day and make sure your session on the water is as great as it possibly can be!

WingFoil
At the KITESURF IALYSOS center we offer a wide range of different wingsurf lessons. Whether you are a complete beginner, with no prior surf-sport experience, or a windsurfer, kitesurfer or surfer who is interested in learning this amazing new sport, we can help!
Students start on the same board as windsurfers, and just trade the sail for a wing. After only a couple of hours you will be able to ride independently.
For the more experienced riders we offer high standard wingfoil lessons, with a maximum of 3 people per instructor or private lesson and we teach you how to fly safely, jibe, tack or jump with your wingfoil gear.
Kitesurf Ialysos is fully equipped with the latest North sails wings and foil gear. The spot in front of our center in Ialysos Beach is ideal not only for learning how to wingsurf, but also perfect for all wingfoilers looking to rent equipment from us. We ?ll make sure you will have the best wingfoiling experience possible!
