Join us for the kitesurfing adventure of your dreams in Nicaragua
Located on the beautiful volcanic island of Ometepe in Nicaragua, Kitesurf Ometepe offers beginner and advanced classes in kiteboarding - an exhilarating sport that combines wind power and a kite to ride on the water. Our instructors are IKO certified and speak English, French, Dutch, German and Spanish.
For riders with an independent kitesurfing level, we offer gear rental (harness, kite, bar, board) and supervision (for those who have the experience and just need someone to watch over them in the water.)
We have steady wind (15-25 knots) from November to April with flat and choppy conditions - perfect for learning and riding alike.
We are also the only school on the island to offer wingfoil classes and equipment rental.

Level 1 - Discovery class
In the discovery class (approximately 3 hrs) you will learn about the kite equipment, safety features and basic and advanced kite control skills

Whether your into cruising, freestyle riding, surf or wingfoil, our school offers brand new 2023/24 F-ONE equipment to suit all of your needs.
Depending on the wind conditions, we provide F-ONE Bandit XVI, Bandit S, and Breeze kites ranging from 6-15 meters. Depending on your riding level, we have a variety of twin tip and surfboards available.

This package includes:
Wingfoil is a relatively new and fast growing water sport that shares practices with both windsurfing and kitefoiling. It consists of riding a hydrofoil board and using a handheld inflatable kite wing. With wingfoil you can take advantage of light and offshore winds and have more manoeuvrability for riding waves.
Kitesurf Ometepe provides the newest cutting edge F ONE wingfoil equipment and qualified instructors to give students the best learning experience.
