ABOUT THE SURF CAMP

The Laga Surf Camp is a camp as well as a surf school, which is located in Ibarrangelu, Biscay, in the "Reserva de la Biosfera de Urdaibai", one of the most beautiful regions in the Basque Country. For more than 5 years we offer surf camps and surf courses for adults and teens between 10 and 17.

We offer camping as well as accommodation in our farm. We can provide you with all the material that is necessary for surfing - for beginners as well as for intermediates.

ACCOMMODATION AND CATERING

We can offer you 2 different types of accommodation:

Camping
Since 2015, you can stay in our fully-equipped campsite in Laida, near the beach Laida-Mundaka. The campsite is located 150m away from the beach and the zone of camping is reserved for camp participants. 

The camp attendees stay in exclusive tents, which are spacious, tall and provided with beds as well as mattresses and everything that is needed for maximal comfort.

In addition, there is a big tent equipped with tables and chairs, where we gather to read, chat, watch videos...and sometimes it is also be used as a dining room!

Garden area with tables, chairs, ping-pong table and barbecue.

The campsite offers furthermore showers and water closets as well as a mini supermarket and a barbecue restaurant.

Casa rural
Our fully-equipped farm is located near Laga and Laida. 

The farm offers the following qualities:

-2- or 3-bed rooms. All with bathroom and TV.
-kitchen
-opportunity: breakfast
-dining room with TV, DVD, gaming tables and computer
-Wifi 
-Terrace and garden
-daily cleaning service

1.5 km away from the Laga beach and 1km from the village Ibarranguelu.

As we run a farm we also have animals like sheep and chicken as well as a beautiful vegetable garden with delicious vegetables.

SURF COURSE AND ACTIVITIES

Beginner course

Here we teach basic knowledge, which is necessary in order to dive into the world of surfing. The teaching is done by qualified instructors and the relevant material is included in the price. 

We offer you two different options:
The surf school in Laga or the surf school in Laida-Mundaka.

What you are going to learn:

Here we teach basic knowledge, which is necessary in order to dive into the world of surfing:

-ocean currents
-different waves
-how to take a wave
-how to position your feet on the board
and many more things!

-The course prices include: board and wetsuit
-1 guide for 6 students
-It depends on the tide and the condition of the sea, when we go surfing.

Intermediate course

We offer you two different options:
The surf school in Laga or the surf school in Laida-Mundaka.

The advantages of being part of our team:

The intermediate courses are offered to the members of the Laga Surfclub, who already joined a beginner course and who want to enhance their abilities.

In order to become a member of our club you simply need to download the form on our website and bring it to our subsidiary in Laga.

-The course prices include: board and wetsuit
-1 guide for 6 students
-It depends on the tide and the condition of the sea, when we go surfing.

Perfection course

The perfection courses are for students, who already have basic knowledge, who surfed waves on their own and who want to improve their technique. The courses tae place in a privileged enclave in Biscay (Basque Country).
