Tamraght is a Moroccan Berber village located 15 km north of Agadir, between Agadir and Essaouira, on the Atlantic coast, known for having the best surf spots in the Agadir region. Tamraght is Taghazout’s little sister, quieter and more authentic.

It is located on the peak of a small hill, in the village of Tamraght, in the bay of Taghazout and facing the ocean that MANZILI has settled. All year round, our Boutique Hotel Surf & Yoga welcomes you and keeps its promise of authenticity; Stretching out below are the banana plantations of Banana Village, and beyond are the long stretches of sandy beach offering a truly magnificent outlook.

We love sharing the unique parts of our country with our guests. Manzili Surf House is just a few minutes from the beach in the small, sleepy fishing village called Tamraght.
Our rooftop has become our signature where our guests love to meet and relax. It’s also the best spot for our morning yoga classes that overlooks the Atlas Mountains and the North Atlantic Ocean. Aside from a restful night’s sleep at our Surf Hostel, we offer a range of different activities including surf lessons, Yoga, our famous Paradise Valley excursion and a whole lot more. So, if you’re looking for a spot to chill out and meet some other friendly travelers, come on over to The Manzili Surf House. Just beware, you might not want to leave !

BACK TO OUR ROOTS

We are a couple in our forties living in France, but both from this beautiful region.

It was on this beach that we learned to swim and spent all our summers as children and teenagers.

After the wife’s long career in finance, and the man’s desire to invest in his native land, we naturally chose this region to share the peace atmosphere and good vibes with our children first, and with our clients now.

We have created a place that reflects our mind : a mixture of traditional Moroccan style and contemporary style to have the best of both worlds: Moroccan warmth and hospitality, in a sober and minimalist contemporary style.

MANZILI means our home which we wish to be yours during your stay.

The area is known for its perfect surfing waves, the sun 350 days a year and the hospitality of the Moroccans. This place is magical weather for either beginners or pro, a singleton or family, boys or girls, young or old people.

Our children fall in love of this region, so why not you!

Our Surf & Yoga Boutique Hotel has a rooftop where you can relax and enjoy the view while sipping tea or a fresh smoothie.
MANZILI also has a fireplace for winter evenings and a large library with books, board games, and decorative items to make your stay enjoyable.
A room is also available for relaxing evenings after a long day of surfing or to work for digital nomads.
Taghazout Bay beach is 5 minutes away from the hotel. You will be able to take advantage of the various infrastructures offered on the spot such as a 1.5 km long cornice for your morning jogging, a beach volleyball court, open-air fitness equipment…
Finally, for the more curious, take a jeep or buggy ride along a specially prepared itinerary through the incredible roads of the Souss valley. There are also a number of towns and villages to discover nearby, including Taroudant and Tiznit.

You can choose between a DOUBLE ROOM - SEA VIEW (+ balcony), a GROUP OR FAMILLY ROOM - SEA VIEW and a DOUBLE ROOM - LONG STAY.

You can’t stay in Morocco without enjoying Moroccan food.
Our Moroccan chef has, at heart, to make you taste the flavor of the Moroccan food revisited and balanced.
Breakfasts consist of traditional Moroccan dishes, fresh seasonal fruits, accompanied by mint tea, and the juice of local oranges.
At lunchtime, we prepare jars of food to take away so that you can picnic on the beach and not miss out on your surfing session.
Dinners are prepared and enjoyed at the hotel. You will taste the traditional Moroccan dishes and especially our couscous and tajines.

We do not use plastic bottles. A water fountain is at your disposal to fill your glass water bottles;
Our kitchen uses products from the short distance and from local organic farms.The bananas you eat grow a few hundred meters from the hotel;
All our condiments, spices and basic products come from the local markets and surrounding farms and are transported by weight.

OUR SHALA We have our studio on the rooftop. It offers a panoramic view of the fishing village of Tamraght and the Atlantic Ocean. It is accessible at all hours and can accommodate up to 15 yogis.

Morocco has hundreds of surf spots and remains a paradise for surfers.

In our region Agadir Souss Massa, we have more than 20 internationally known spots adapted for both seasoned professionals and beginners during most of the year.

Surfing conditions are dependent on flow, wind, tides, swell size, and direction. A local community of professionals from the region will help you to find the best spots for your level of surfing throughout the year.
