Features
Family-Like Atmosphere
You’re not just a guest – you’re part of the crew.
We keep things with only 14 guests personal, with a warm and welcoming vibe.
A home that feels like yours
Every room comes with a private bathroom — no sharing, no hassle.
Say goodbye to cramped dorms and hello to comfort and privacy.
The story behind Melo
Melo Surf & Yoga was born from a shared love of the ocean, slow mornings and meaningful travel.
After years of dreaming (and surfing!), we finally found our little corner in Morocco – a place where we could bring people together through waves, movement and connection.
We didn’t want a big resort. We wanted a space that feels personal, warm and real. A home – not a hotel.
Today, we welcome guests from around the world to join our little community, to surf, stretch, eat well and simply be.
Where you feel at home
Stay in a fresh, stylish space with room to relax.
No bunk beds, no crowds – just 14 spots in a peaceful setting near the ocean.
What makes our space special
Our surf house was created with comfort, calm and community in mind.
Here’s what guests love about staying with us.
Modern, Clean Design: Enjoy a calm space with soft colors, natural light and minimalist style.
Private bathrooms: Every room comes with its own ensuite – no sharing, no queues.
No bunk beds – ever: We believe in comfort and privacy, even in shared rooms.
Only 14 spots: Small group size means it’s cozy, quiet and never overcrowded.
Rooftop terrace: Flow, stretch or relax with a view – our rooftop is your chill zone.
Fresh, homemade food: Local, nourishing & full of love – breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Triple Room (for 3 guests – shared)
Designed for solo travelers who love a social vibe without sacrificing comfort.
Spacious and bright, this room offers three single beds (no bunk beds!), a private ensuite bathroom, and enough room to breathe, stretch and relax after a day in the waves.
Ideal for budget-conscious surfers who enjoy community, calm and clean design.
Double & Single Room (for 1–2 guests – shared or private)
Perfect for friends, couples or anyone who enjoys more privacy.
This room comes with two single beds or one double – depending on your needs – and your own ensuite bathroom.
Enjoy a quiet sunset from your private balcony with sea view – it’s the perfect spot to unwind.
This is your space to rest, read, journal or just soak in the silence.
Staying with us means more than just having a bed to sleep in.
It means slow mornings with fresh coffee on the rooftop, laughter in the kitchen, long surf talks after dinner, and golden sunsets shared with good people.
Our home is quiet, clean and cozy – but most of all, it’s a place that makes you feel welcome, grounded and free.
Do you cater to vegetarians or special diets?
Yes – we always offer vegetarian and plant-based options. Let us know in advance if you have any allergies or dietary restrictions, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
Is the food Moroccan or international?
A mix of both! Most of our meals are home-cooked Moroccan dishes with a modern twist – but we also throw in some Mediterranean and international favorites.
Are drinks included?
We provide filtered water, tea and coffee for free. Soft drinks and smoothies are available in the village in different shops and coffees.
Do I need to bring my own surfboard or wetsuit?
Nope – we’ve got you covered. Boards, wetsuits and all surf equipment are included in your package.
Can I bring my own surfboard and wetsuit?
Absolutely! If you prefer using your own board or wetsuit, feel free to bring it along. We also have a great selection of boards and wetsuits (3/2) available if you choose to travel light.
What wetsuit do you recommend?
For the autumn, winter, and spring months, a 3/2 wetsuit is ideal, while a shorty works well in summer. If you tend to feel cold in the water, you might want to bring a 4/3 wetsuit. We offer 3/2 wetsuits in each package.

Characterization of surroundings/region
Taghazout and its surroundings offer a variety of activities such as yoga sessions, hiking, visiting local markets, and exploring the stunning Moroccan coastline. There’s always something exciting to do!
Ways to get to the camp
Do you offer airport transfers?
Yes! We offer free pick-up and drop-off from Agadir airport if you stay with us for at least 7 nights. For shorter stays, we can help arrange a transfer at a fair rate.
The closest airport is Agadir (AGA) – just 45 minutes from the camp. You can also fly into Marrakech or Essaouira, but the travel time is longer.
Can I arrive on any day of the week?
Yes, we offer flexible arrival and departure dates – just choose what works best for you.
What do I need to travel to Morocco?
To travel to Morocco, you will need a valid passport (valid for at least 6 months after departure). Depending on your nationality, a visa may be required. If you're not sure if you need a visa, we recommend checking with your nearest Moroccan embassy for visa requirements. It's also advisable to have travel insurance and any necessary vaccinations.
How do I get to the camp from the airport?
If you're eligible for the free transfer, we'll pick you up. Otherwise, we’ll be happy to organize a private taxi or advise on the best public transport route.
