ABOUT THE SURF CAMP

LOCATION AND SURF CONDITIONS

We are located in Gafanha da Nazaré a small town 10 minutes from Aveiro. On one side we have a large park with plenty of spaces to chill out in as well as tennis and basketball courts. On the other side, we have the lagoon and marina which is not the best for swimming but is perfect for boating and paddle boarding.

Kite surfing classes have no more than four people per instructor so the it plenty of time to learn.

SURF MATERIALS

Then our Kite & Surf Camps are your best option. On windy days we will take you to the best flatwater or wave Kite spots in the area, either with our own two boats or the van. We will adapt the activities according to the forecast, to ensure you're always getting the best conditions for your level. On the spot our instructors will give you your first lesson or give you valuable tips to get your kiting to the next level. You can either bring your own equipment or use our latest gear. Try out our Wingfoils if you want some variety.

KITESURF CONDITIONS

Breaks directly at the main spot and at nearby spots

Playa de Barra 
An amazing beach break close by great experts and and people looking to kite in the surf for the first time. Also an amazing spot to go surfing or hang out when there is no wind.

Estacas
Our beginner/ flat water spot. Due to the large standing area (shallow water) it is the perfect place for people to try kiting for the first time.

Monte Farinha 
An 45km lagoon with endless possibilities for kiting. It is only accessible by boat so you are almost guaranteed to have the place to yourself.

Crowd factor and local people

While Barra and the nearby areas are popular with beachgoers the surf is not often crowded and the are almost never for then five to ten other kiters

Ways to get to the camp

From Porto you can get a 1 hour bus to Aveiro followed by another but or a very cheap uber to My Way. Pick-up can also be arranged from either location as needed.
