ABOUT THE SURF CAMP

Nature et Océan is ideally located in terms of surfing spots on the Atlantic coast, in Messanges, in les Landes. We can arrange surfing holidays including accommodation and surfing lessons ‘à la carte’, from April to November. For beginners and advanced.

We have a partnership with the surfcamp Desert Point. It's a surfcamp with 20 years experiences in the surf sector. They offer preferential rates for those who wish to learn how to surf or just improve. A discount rate of 15% allocated to our residents with the special offer code : NATUREOCEAN.

ACCOMMODATION AND CATERING

Located on the dune, above the village Nature and Ocean in Messanges near Moliets, Hossegor and Capbreton, the villa is a splendid villa of colonial inspiration of 200m2 including 5 rooms of which 2 air-conditioned and 3 rooms of Bath, all surrounded by 3 beautiful terraces (1 huge covered terrace, 1 terrace in full sun and 1 terrace in the shade of pines).

This holiday rental is unique and exceptional, and is located at the top of the holiday village with view on the heated pool and on the spa. The villa of Nature et Océan has 4**** and got the label 4 keys by Clé-Vacances. The house can accommodate 10 people (12 with children) without a problem. It is ideal if you are looking for a beautiful villa for a week end or a week in the Landes near the beach in an authentic, very welcoming and relaxing.

SURF COURSE AND ACTIVITIES

Once equipped, if your instructor is already on the beach, we will accompany you and your group to the practice area. Children will never be alone in the room, on the way to the spot or in the water. We have 2 trailers that can carry up to 5 boards each to relieve the youngest and reach the surf spot in great shape. You are off to 1h30 of surf lessons, our lessons are generally in pairs to allow two levels of surfing on the same schedule.

Thanks to the superb environment in the south of Les Landes, between the ocean, the lakes, the forest and the cycling paths, you will be able to experience many different sports and interesting entertainment activities during your stay on our Nature et Océan resort in Messanges. You will also find sailing club lessons (Centre nautique de Soustons) on the  various lakes, 4 golf courses (Golf club in Moliets), miles of  cycling paths in the forest for biking and roller blading, and horse riding in the forest or on the beach.

Activities and facilities
- Soustons lake, right next to our resort  is one of the biggest lakes in France. Walks around it, paddle boat rentals, paddle boarding rentals, fishing… Le Courant d’Huchet, called the Amazonia of the Landes : a natural reserve 8 km away.
- Visit Hossegor, Seignosse, Capbreton… only 15 minutes away and Bayonne and Saint Jean de Luz 40 minutes away.
- Go for a day-trip to discover the surrounding basque villages, enjoy  a great viewpoint embarking on the little train of La Rhune, and don’t forget to cross the border and have some tapas in Spain.
- The highest sand dune of Pyla in Europe at the entrance of Arcachon bay (1h15 north of Messanges)

Important details
The resort is 400 meters away from Messanges village, where you will find a local grocery shop, a baker, a newsagent, small restaurants, bike rental places, etc.
Everything may be done by bike, no need to take your car: shops, restaurants, beach and the forest are within walking distance and easy reach.
