LOCATION AND SURF CONDITIONS

Laguna’s centers offer you two spots which cover all the Laguna coastline.

Laguna Naxos–surf center is located at the prime spot of the 1,2 km length Laguna next to Aghios Georgios main beach of Naxos island. The surf centre is right at the front of the best launch site: steady wind, easy access to the wave venue and it works perfectly with any other wind direction apart from the prevailing north wind.
Laguna Beach park centre is located at the end of Laguna’s coast line. The centre is exactly  at the edge of the beach at the small lagoon known as “Lagunaki”, which is famous among the freestyle windsurfers.

CAMP CHARACTER

---

Laguna : You will enjoy some of the best freestyle and slalom conditions worldwide. The flat water and the standing depth guarantee your improvement and finally cracking that carve gybe. As you move towards the reef, which separates the lagoon in two spots, you will find some small but nice waves for learning jumps or trying forwards. Wave spot : It’s just a tack away! You cross over from the lagoon to the waves through a marked gateway at the offshore reef. There you will find reef breakers and wind blown waves between 1 to 2.5 m high, which offer excellent jumping and backside riding conditions for novice and advanced wave sailors. Wind conditions : The location is exposed to the north, the wind is onshore to cross onshore and is incredibly steady with no gusts, lulls or abrupt changes in direction. During summer months the renowned “meltemi” delivers guaranteed planning conditions almost every day. Perfect playground : The waist deep lagoon with its sandy seabed and onshore wind make training extremely safe, ensuring that kids and beginners will enjoy a fun introduction to windsurfing and develop skills in a secure environment.

Laguna Beach park centre which is situated at “Lagunaki” is here to train you pass from being a medium level windsurfer to big waves level! With a small piste with sharp and clean waves and depth less than one meter, Lagunaki will help you get the feeling of being in serious wave conditions but in absolute safety…
ARE YOU A “FREESTYLE COMPETITOR”?    
Laguna is your spot! You will find completely flat water in order to learn the “tricks” and “choppy” conditions to make sure you can “handle” everywhere! Every summer famous freestyle riders  visit our centers in order to enjoy the special conditions that Laguna has to offer. Various clinics and camps from experienced freestyle athletes take part at Laguna’s centers so stay tuned….         
ARE YOU LOOKING FOR MORE ADRENALINE?          
At Laguna’s centers  you will have the opportunity to try the windsurfing ramp! (after evaluation)    

ARE YOU A NON-WINDSURFING PARTNER
There are endless options for your non-windsurfing partners too: You are just a 5 min walk from Agios Georgios, the town beach, and 15min walk from Naxos town. Everything you could ever need from a windsurf destination!

A few years back, Stamatis was sailing there and Anastasia was sitting at the hilltop, which rises right at the end  of the small lagoon, gazing the amazing view, and they were dreaming about their own windsurf center at that same spot.
That dream came true in the summer of 2013 and since then we have lived our dream with you.

Since 2021, Laguna Beach Park welcomes a new member in their “family”! Laguna Naxos Surf  comes to complete not only Anastasia’s and Stam’s dream but also the dream of the fans of Laguna of Naxos!

The accommodation is provided in cooperation with Hadriana's Studios. Newly built and renovated in 2012. Our spacious and fully equipped self-catering studios are located in a beautiful and quiet area just 250m from the lagoon and 7 min walk to our surf center.

You could have lessons of windsurfing, foil windsurf, wing foil and Sup for all the lessons. Lessons are private or until 6 persons in a group. lessons can be done in greek, english, german or italian language .

SURF MATERIALS

---

All the courses are on flexible days and hours that better fits in your Schedule.All the lessons include, in addition to the equipment, insurance for damages, wetsuit, harness if needed and protection vest. After the course you get a 20% discount in your first rental. Beginner lessons take place in the shallow flat water in front of the station with safe, onshore wind. prices from 40 euro
