Summary

Learn Kiteboarding Now! Our kitesurfing school in Oostvoorne in the Netherlands has existed since 2004 and offers ideal conditions for group bookings. All-inclusive camps with a wide range of water and board sports – courses in kite surfing, yoga, surfing, stand-up paddling, skim boarding and skateboarding are part of our repertoire. For many years we have been one of the leading providers of unisport excursions and university sports leisure trips to the Netherlands. For universities and school classes, as well as clubs from Germany, we organize weekly camps including accommodation and meals every year. Our youth kitesurf camps are very popular with children and young people from Germany and Holland.

Learning to kitesurf is easy and anyone who feels physically fit and is not afraid of water can learn to kite relatively quickly. You will hardly experience the indescribable feeling of gliding over the water with a kite and the power of the wind in any other sport. Sun and salt water on your skin, the wind on your face, the sand between your toes and the view of the sea make our sport so incomparably beautiful.

We improve your kite control, your body posture while riding and the edging of the board, show you how to ride height and master the first jumps with kite support. After the private lessons, you can continue practicing with the material for the rest of the day, which is of course included in the price.

Step 1: Introduction, kite handling, wind window Spot briefing and safety briefing Setting up the kite and kite handling, safety systems Explanation of the wind window – launch the kite, fly in a controlled manner and landing the kite Step 2: kite control and body dragging Controlled launch and flying of the kite in the water Launch the kite out of the water (relaunch) Bodydrag on downwind course and upwind course Advanced course process

You have already completed an introductory course and can assemble and dismantle the kite, take off and land with assistance and have also carried out body dragging in the water.

Then book a private course over 3 hours.

Kitesurf course group

The kitesurf course for beginners who also have time during the week. The course takes place every Monday to Friday in small groups of a maximum of 4 participants per kitesurfing instructor.

In your first course you will learn all the basics with us. After a short introduction to the spot (here we explain all the special features of the kite area), we immediately start setting up the equipment.
After setup and a safety briefing, we launch the kite and then we go straight into the water. After a few exercises to get used to it, you can do your first body drags – now the fun and action begins.

Setup kitesurf course

The 2-day beginners course is divided into 3-4 steps. Each step builds on the previous one, so no steps can be skipped. As a rule, level 3 is reached, some make it to level 4.

Hydrofoil kite course for experienced kiters

Kiting almost without wind, that is the new megatrend. For experienced kiters from at least VDWS level 5 we offer hydrofoil kite courses as private lessons.
The course is aimed at kiters who are confident in handling kites and boards. Relaunching the kite with little wind requires a little experience, as does the entire handling of the board in the water in wind conditions in which the kite just stays in the air. That’s what makes kite foiling so fascinating. Once you stand on the board and lift yourself out of the water over the wing, you float almost without resistance and noiselessly over the water.

Course of the course

The course takes place from around 8 knots to around 15 knots of wind speed. Experience has shown that in the beginning it is easier when you have a few knots more wind, because you don’t have to concentrate too much on the kite control. We will drive you to a spot with a light onshore wind and sufficient water depth. After setting up the kite, we will explain the most important points in handling the hydrofoil board. Kite, bar, foil board and safety equipment consisting of neoprene, trapeze, leash, impact vest and helmet are included in the course. Of course, you can also use your own material in the course. After putting on the safety equipment, you are ready to go. Your instructor will help you with handling on land and into the water. After the body drag away from the bank, you can make your first attempts to start with the hydrofoil. The first few attempts will remind you of your time as a kite beginner – start, fall, realign, take a deep breath and start all over again.

After a few attempts, short breaks on the beach and tips and instructions from your kite instructor, you get on the board and out of the water and experience the first feeling of floating. Your instructor will keep an eye on you throughout the course and analyze and correct your skills.
