ABOUT THE SURF CAMP

LOCATION

We are in Miraflores, the access to Makaha beach is by the stone path called "Bajada Balta" which is at the end of Kennedy Park. Our store is on the shore of the beach, in front of the "Terrazas" tennis club.

SURF COURSE AND ACTIVITIES

SURF COURSE DETAILS

Classes are 1 hour 30 minutes:
The first 30 minutes of class is a basic explanation and simulation of how to paddle and stand up on the board, plus a small stretch session to avoid cramps. The next hour of class students enter the sea with teachers. Most students stand up within the first class!

Class schedules:
You can choose the schedule that fits best with your activities. We have classes every 2 hours starting at 6AM, 8AM, 10AM, 12PM, 2PM and 4PM. Please arrive 15 minutes before each class to get dressed.

The roundtrip transfer to the beach is available prior coordination. Available for any point of Miraflores, Barranco or San Isidro. Our big Van capacity of up to 10 passengers.

SURF MATERIALS

Classes include all the necessary equipment:
Everyone is given a wetsuit that is washed after each use and some boots (aqua shoes) to protect their feet from the stones. We also provide special surfboards to learn. Because they are made with a soft material, they are very safe for beginners.

Surfboards:
We have more than 40 selected softboards for beginners in sizes 10' | 9 '| 8'2 "| 7'5" | 6'4 " In addition, we offer 20 fiberglass boards for our most advanced surfers in sizes | 9'4" | 9 '| 8 '| 7'4 "| 7'0" | 6'8 "| 6'2" | 6'0 "| 5'11" | 5'9" We also have bodyboards with fins and Stand Up Paddle Boards (SUP) with paddles.

Wetsuits:
Pukana’s neoprene wetsuits are washed after each use and are offered in all the sizes. We also have booties (aqua shoes) to protect your feet from stones.

Rentals (without classes):
Surf rentals full equipment: board + wetsuit US$10
Only surfboard: US$7
SUP rentals full equipment: Sup + wetsuit US$20
Only SUP: US$17

PACKAGES & PRICES

Group surf lesson - $20.00 per Person

Live your first surfing experience with a small group of 2 or 3 students per instructor. Recommended for children from 11 years old and adults of all ages. Classes are grouped according to students’ level and age. Classes include all the necessary equipment. Classes are 1 hour and 30 minutes. Available all year round at 8AM, 10AM, 2PM and 4PM.

Private surf lesson - $27.00 per Person

If you require a private instructor for you alone. Recommended for children from 4 years to 10 years. Also adults with physical limitations, those who cannot swim or are very afraid of the sea. We provide life vests so that they feel more confident in the waves. Classes include all the necessary equipment. Classes are 1 hour and 30 minutes. Available all year round at 8AM, 10AM, 2PM and 4PM.

Lesson and transfer - $37.00 per Person

If you want to avoid the full of stairs way or just don't feel lost you can take our transfer service. Our two vehicles are ready to pick you up 20minutes before the lesson and we drop you off after surfing. We work with all hotels and addresses in Miraflores, San Isidro and Barranco district.Available all year round at 8am, 10am, 12am, 2pm and 4pm.

8 Lesson Pack (group) - $130.00 per Person

Coordinated with 8 group classes and an attendance of 2 times per week is scheduled. No class is lost if is postponed and in the case you cannot attend. The schedules are flexible, however, it is necessary to schedule classes in advance. Classes include all the necessary equipment. Classes are 1 hour and 30 minutes. Choose the day, lessons are available at 8AM, 10AM, 2PM and 4PM.

8 Lesson Pack (private) - $187.00 per Person

Coordinated with 8 private classes and an attendance of 2 times per week is scheduled. No class is lost if is postponed and in the case you cannot attend. The schedules are flexible, however, it is necessary to schedule classes in advance. Classes include all the necessary equipment. Classes are 1 hour and 30 minutes. Choose the day, lessons are available at 8AM, 10AM, 2PM and 4PM.

Surfrips - from $35.00 per Person

Our short half-day and full-day roadtrips show the secrets and stories of the most hidden beaches of Lima. After picking you up from your accommodation we are going to look for the perfect wave in Chorrillos, the south area or the north area of Lima. We help you choose the most suitable spot for your level, beginners and intermediates are welcome.
