SurfCamp & Kitesurf School Brazil is based in Tibau do Sul, approximately 80 km south of Natal, the capital of Rio Grande do Norte and home to the nearest international airport (NAT).
Tibau do Sul is a small town where you can have a journey of pure discovery, from golden dunes to lush rainforest, tranquil lagoons to the soul of the hinterland. Sunset wellness rituals, where the day melts into serenity. A world apart, where peace, greenery, and the fragrance of the tropics awaken your senses. Also, in the village of Praia de Pipa, you'll find a wide variety of bars and restaurants offering diverse cuisines. Most of these establishments open only in the late afternoon and are located along Avenida Baía dos Golfinhos, the village’s main street. The main spot of surf is located around 3km from the center and the transfer to the spot for surfing lessons is included.
The camp has a great family - like atmosphere, and is pet friendly. It's for Adults 18+, the average age of participants is 33 years old. Mostly time to relax camp although we can have some scheduling of parties. The main language used in camp is Portuguese but our staff speaks English, French and Spanish.
The surfcamp is run by owner, Patrícia, who cares for this space with deep affection. As she often says, it is much more than just a campsite — here, you will find a true Brazilian Northeastern home. It is a place shaped by a spirit of horizontality, where team, guests, and management connect on equal footing, creating an atmosphere of openness and mutual respect.
Here, you can immerse yourself in a genuine local experience, embracing diversity, honoring nature, and feeling the vibrant spirit of the community through the many activities offered.
The camp offers charming bungalows with a private restroom, bed linen and towels are provided. Each featuring a private veranda with a hammock and a view of the garden. The spaces are thoughtfully designed to provide comfort, simplicity, and a sense of home. It can be a single or a shared occupancy.

Waves: Consistent swell year-round, with smaller, gentler waves for beginners and occasional stronger swells for more advanced surfers.
