ABOUT THE SURF CAMP
LOCATION AND SURF CONDITIONS
Located in the heart of Strandhill, along Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way.
We are ideally situated in the center of the village, just 100m from the beachfront and 100m from the bus stop with connections to town every hour.
With Benbulben in view to the north and Knocknarea peaking over the village, there is hardly a better site while riding a wave back to shore!
Just 8km from Sligo Town.

SURF COURSE DETAILS
Located in the heart of Strandhill, our school offers you the opportunity to learn how to surf or improve skills you may already have. We guarantee to get you standing on your board in one or two lessons! Affordable, convenient, safe and ABSOLUTE CRAIC!
Surf lessons run for about 2.5 hours and include the use of a surfboard, a wet suit, and any other gear. All you need to bring is a towel, a bathing suit, and a sense of adventure!
SURF MATERIALS
All essential equipment is provided and our coaches are full certified with the Irish Surfing Association, Water Safety Ireland and Child Protection. As well all of them are garda vetted.
In our Surf School we supply you with high quality, warm, flexible surfing wetsuits. We also supply everyone with beginner surf boards, which have soft tops and flexible fins, to provide sufficient safety.

NO EXPERIENCE? No problem! Come catch your first wave in Strandhill We guarantee to get you standing on your board in one or two lessons!
ALREADY GOT WET? Excellent! Now, progression is key! Our coaches will assess each surfer in the water and give individual goals to achieve during the lesson. All equipment is provided and you can get change and take a shower in our on-site changing facilities. Just bring yourself, your swimsuit and a towel.

Kids Summer Swell Camp - from 150€ per 5 Classes/ Person
Our kids Summer Swell Camps are safe, fun, small group sessions with experienced instructors for children aged 7-16 years to learn the ins and outs of surfing. We always welcome parents to come along on lessons as cheerleaders, however if you are looking for some quiet time, feel free to leave your kids in our capable hands for the duration of their lessons.
