ABOUT THE SURF CAMP

Just behind the dune on the four-star campsite, we set up our Surf Camp Moliets every summer. A beautiful location with the looks of a real surfing village, the perfect spot for a surfing holiday in France! Surfcamp Moliets is a location from 16 years old, but with a limited number of places for minors. While booking there is a split of 18+ and 16+, Surfcamp Moliets remains one super cool surf camp in the South of France, where we all have the time of our lives!

The Surf Camp Moliets is set up around our cozy bar, which is also the meeting place for the week. Get to know the Surfblend team here, but especially your new surfing friends. Every week we ensure that it becomes one friendly group of friends who have the time of their lives!

ACCOMMODATION AND CATERING

The teepees of Surfcamp Moliets immediately stand out because of the cool 'boutique-style' design. The teepee has room for three people and stands on a wooden deck; you imagine yourself in a hotel room when you wake up on the beach of Moliets, living the dream!

The tipi has two beds with comfortable mattresses, the third bed is an air mattress. It is also possible to rent a bed package (pillow, blanket, fitted sheet and duvet cover) for the surf holiday in France. If you do not want this, you must bring your own sheet, sleeping bag or blanket and a pillow.

From the day you arrive to the day of departure you will be catered for with breakfast and 5 delicious dinners every day.

The breakfast buffet is ready for you every morning at the surf camp in beautiful Moliets. Take a seat and have a piece of baguette with all kinds of fillings, a croissant and a nice cup of coffee or tea. You can also choose from different types of breakfast cereals and a fresh piece of fruit. Dinner consists of a fresh meal accompanied by a fresh salad and a fresh dressing. Once a week we organize a big burger BBQ!

Do you have a special diet, are you allergic? No problem, let us know what your wishes are when booking or at the Surf Camp Moliets and our chef will provide you with a tasty alternative.

SURF COURSE AND ACTIVITIES

Surfing is fun, but it is much more fun when you know what you are doing! That is why surf camp Moliets offers surf lessons from our own certified surf coaches. These men and women have undergone intensive training and can teach you to surf safely and responsibly in France during your surfing holiday. They tell you everything about the ocean, Moliets-plage beach, the equipment and the surfing itself. The surf lessons are given per day and always consist of lessons of approximately 1.5 hours. When booking surf lessons you get free surf gear for the whole week during your surf holiday, so you can practice unlimited in the wonderful water in the South of France.

In addition to Moliets surf camp, we also organize a special surf camp and coaching week for children and young people. Discover the Moliets Junior Camp for juniors (12-16 years), or our Grommet Coaching Week for juniors and young people (12-18 years).

Moliets-plage is a beautiful beach for surfing! All over the beach there are several peaks where you will find beautiful waves. Below we describe our favorite surf spots for your surfing holiday France.

Houdini's
A wave where you can completely lose yourself and disappear in the Barrel. Houdini's mainly works on medium to rising tide. At high tide you are too late, then it is best to wait until the tide drops again.

The wave
Here you will find a beautiful right wave that runs for a long time. If you take this wave at the right point, you can surf it perfectly to the beach. Do you want to go surfing "The Wave" during your surfing holiday in France? Then be sure to take a look at low tide. The Golf got its name from the beautiful golf course that lies just behind the dune.

The river
The estuary of the river forms solid sandbanks to the left and right of the river, creating different peaks. We recommend that you surf just to the left of the river. Here there is both a left and a right wave. Perfect for your surf holiday in France!

Characterization of surroundings/region

Located between Bordeaux and Biarritz, you will find many nice spots along the coastline and the still unknown surf spots of the South of France. Moliets-Plage is a must for surfers who like to explore the beaches around the Surf Camp in Moliets. The beach in front of the camp itself is very large and because of the many sandbanks you can choose from different beach breaks. Because there are different peaks, the crowd is also well spread. So be sure to explore the beach well because depending on the tide you will encounter beautiful waves in different places!

Moliets is a typical "Landaise" holiday village with many nice restaurants, cozy bars and various surf shops. After surfing you can eat and drink something quietly or shop to your heart's content during your surfing holiday in France. Twice a week there is also a market where you can buy nice things and taste local delicacies.

Every evening there is also a party in the village itself! For example, you can have a drink in L’open Café together with the crew of the surf camp and other guests in Moliets. Here you can dance every night of your surfing holiday in France, also led by various live bands and DJs.
