LOCATION AND SURF CONDITIONS

The Surfintrip Camp takes place in Corralejo, the most important tourist center of the island surrounded by beaches and sand dunes (Corralejo Natural Park). Furthermore, Corralejo, thanks to his geographic positions, allows to go easily to the main spots* situated in the north east and north west of the island few kilometres away from the centre.

The spot, which is the place where we will make the surf lessons, could change daily among the following (as far from Corralejo is 30 minutes by car): Las Lajas de Punta Prieta (Corralejo Natural Park), Piedra Playa (El Cotillo), Caleta del Barco (El Cotillo), Punta Blanca (El Cotillo), El Moro (Corralejo Natural Park), Bajo Negro (“El Burro” in Corralejo Natural Park), Punta Elena (Corralejo), Punta Gorda (El Cotillo) e Alta Mar (Corralejo).

CASA Maccaroni
Casa Maccaroni is made for people who want to live an international surf community, inspired from friendship, art, surf and skateboarding. Surrounded by the unique Canary Islands environment. The guesthouse is a typical Majorero old farm house of Fuerteventura, placed in the charming little village of Lajares. We are in a perfect location. The village is located 10 minutes by car from the northshore, the main area for surfing. Also for the east- and westcoast beach breaks you´re not more than 10 min away by car. From here all the surf spots are easily to reach. Lajares is a little 1.600 people multicultural village, home to the island’s best shapers and surf shops. It also offers a wide variety of restaurants and bars. The guest house has five bedrooms, two bathrooms and our kitchen which is completely equipped for our guests to make yourself at home. You also have a parking, as well as WI-FI & TV. We organize surfari and airport transfer on request.

Lorenzo´s Bed & Surf
Lorenzo's Bed&Surf is a stylish and big apartment with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, equipped kitchen, living room and a big communal terrace on top. The location is perfect since it's in a quiet street, but just 200m from the main square of town! Free fast wifi and wahing machine, TV with Satellite and surf movies.
A big supermarket and lots of restaurants and bars are just nearby walking. It is not allowed to party in the apartment.
Lorenzo the owner will be happy to suggest you the best restaurants, surf spots of the day, and anything you may need.

KOHOLA Surf Camp
With more than 300 sunny days per year, the longest sandy beaches on the Canary islands, large number of secluded bays and great waves which quality is widely known among surfers, you can be sure that Fuerteventura is one of the best surf destinations in Europe. The island is situated on the same geographic latitude as Florida or Mexico and temperatures here rarely drop below 20°C or rise above 30°C, so island provides favourable conditions for surfing during the whole year. With very mild winters, and summers without extraordinary high temperatures, conditions on Fuerteventura are always very pleasant. The coast is full of diversity: from sandy beaches and dunes on the east coast of the island formed by sand brought from the Sahara desert, to the hidden villages surrounded by volcanic rocks and black sand beaches on the west coast. The interior of Fuerteventura is sparsely populated and it is characterised by a large number of volcanic peaks and a few green oasis with palm trees. Our house is located in Corralejo at the northern tip of the island, where also all the best surf spots are situated. Centre of Corralejo offers everything what you could need after a long day full of surfing: surf shops, restaurants, bars and various night clubs, so you can be sure that there is always something happening around the corner.

SURFINTRIP Surf Camp
The Surfintrip Camp is an amazing villa with private swimming pool located in Corralejo on the northwest coast of Fuerteventura. From here, you have easy access to the centre of Corralejo (10 minutes by walk), to the beaches of Corralejo bay (15 minutes by walk) and to the best surf spots of the island. In the area, there are cafes, supermarkets, shops and restaurants.
It consists of three rooms, one suite double room (Lobos room) with private bathroom inside the room and two shared rooms with bunk beds of maximum 4 persons per room. The suite room is equipped with a queen bed from which you will enjoy a nice pool view. There is a bathroom completely dedicated to the shared rooms. We provide all our guests with fresh bed linen and bathroom towels.
The communal areas include a large open space fully equipped kitchen, a spacious comfortable living room which includes a flat screen international TV, open space dining room, the outside chill-out area with sun chairs around the swimming pool as well as an additional entertainment and eating area with a nice view on the pool. WI-FI and public parking area are also available on-site. The modern furniture, the beautiful natural light and the outside area with the swimming pool sound create a perfect peaceful environment to relax and to enjoy an unforgettable experience.

Surfintrip Academy offers an unforgettable experience to all those who wish to approach safely to the world of surfing and to all those who want to improve their technique with those who have turned their passion into their work. The courses and the camps takes place in a location, such as Fuerteventura, where passion, happiness and spirituality connects to you. The mild climate all year round, its white sand beaches and crystal clear water makes the island a paradise for lovers of sun, beach life and water sports.

Within our courses we form groups up to 6 students per instructor so everyone can receive the necessary individual attention depending on personal skills. The instructors, holding license recognized by the Canarian Surfing Federation (FCS) and the International Surfing Association (ISA), follows scientific methods of teaching and analysis approved by the major federations of the world.

We do believe that the visual self-assessment is the most effective method for learning and for this reason our camera will follow your waves because finally we do believe that "The best instructor of yourself…..it’s you".

BEGINNER COURSE
FOR WHO
All those who are in good health condition and, at the same time, are able to swim. It’s a course for beginners and it does not require any entry level.

GOALS
The goals of this course is to ride the first foam waves independently and in a safety way and to learn the theoretical and practical knowledge base.

- Equipment (board, wetsuit, leash, lycra, wax)

- Video-analysis of lessons (if you get more than one day)

INTERMEDIATE COURSE
FOR WHO
The minimum requirements are: get the line up and ride the wave wall in small to medium conditions

GOALS
- To analyse independently the sea forecasts based on significant parameters
- To interpret sea conditions independently and to choose accordingly the best place to surf
- To learn the theoretical technique of the basic maneuvers: duck dive, bottom turn, cut back, re-entry and floater
- To surf on your frontside and your backside
- To improve your technique with respect to entry level
