ABOUT THE SURF CAMP

LOCATION AND SURF CONDITIONS

Swell Surf Morocco located in a  village named Tamraght, just north Agadir city with 14 km, of Atlantic coast to surf. The atmosphere here is very tranquil,relaxed and sunny almost 300 days a year, with more than  3 beaches and its just a few minutes on foot from surfing spots with  a  good looking rocks out of the surfing area  only 25 minutes drive from Agadir city and 40 minutes from international Agadir El Massira airport.

CAMP CHARACTER

Our camp accommadate for 24 guest we have suits for families,individual room (double bed and single),group rooms on aim of feel the camp spirit, plus free access to the kitchen and gardens and terraces for enjoy barbecue parties as we animate at evening,feel free acces to wifi zone and TV in a our cozy and comfortable sitting room.

CAMP OPERATOR

Swell Surf Morocco is run by two cool moroccan guys, Abdo and Habib,who really understand the needs of both the novice and advanced surfer. These guys have in depth knowledge of local conditions, having grown up on the beach here in Agadir.

Our land is a special place to be in night and day, we manage more activities than just surf, our camp is close to our doorstep with open hands…Come on out and learn to surf on the beautiful sandy beaches with our fun and experienced crew of all friendly Moroccan surfers instructors, we have the skills and technique to take you from beginner to surfer in a safe and supportive environment and with a professional monitor to watch every step u make for your safety. We’re with you every step, giving you the tips and pointers you need to progress

All our surf instructors are certified lifeguards, well-known and respected watermen/women, feeling free, safe and comfortable  in the ocean is a part of our purpos and Having your surf instructor in the water at all times guiding you to success will bring you that feeling that only a surfer can describe as you glide down your first wave.

SURF MATERIALS

We carry a full line of surfboards (both longboards and shortboards, fiberglass boards, epoxy boards and soft boards) from names like , South Point, NSP, Modern Longboards, Blue Surfboards, Seven Surfboards, BoardWorks, , Sunset, SuperSoft, INT and more. We carry lots of shapes and sizes from 5'6" up to over ten footers. We also carry a full line of Bodyboards (both hard bottomed and soft bottomed boards) including small ones for the kids as well as BIG 44 inchers for the BIG guys. We feature Skimboards in a wide ranges of sizes to zip up and down the beach with.

Renting surfboards ? Drop all on us! We'll get you wet! Whether you're a beginner, an advanced level surfer or somewhere in between, we've got a board to suit your needs and the local surf conditions

Seasonal conditions

The atmosphere here is very tranquil,relaxed and sunny almost 300 days a year,The big swell work best between September to April and miduim swell between may to july.
Sea temperatures varies between 16 and 22°C/61 to 72°F.

Crowd factor and local people

The locals are usually friendly and peacefull ,about the spots not all of them are crowed and the surfers respect surf rules.

Characterization of surroundings/region

Our camp is located in a small fishing village named tamraght north of the city of Agadir in the south west of Morocco. The inhabitants are mostly of Berber origin, Fishing, tourism, and the production of Argan oil being the main source of income. The developing tourism industry promises to increase the wealth of the area.

Our Camp is located in small village named tamraght, its only 40 min from agadir airport, 25 min driving from agadir bus station and 3h from marrackech airport to agadir bus station.
We offer free transportations during your staying.

EU citizens dont need vaccines or visa.
International flights to/from agadir airport is: EasyJet, Ryanair, Royal Air Maroc, TUI, Condor, AirBerlin, JetAir.
