In the nearby beach of Kotsinas, just 3 minutes’ drive from the hotel, there is a huge, yet not crowded, beach with calm, warm, shallow waters and close–to-perfect wind conditions from middle April to middle October, that make it ideal for kitesurfing. The long sweeping stretches of golden sand provide ample room for plenty of Kiters and Surfers. Two beach bars are also located there for those who like to combine their favorite sport with beach comfort.
Additionally, within 15 minutes’ drive from the hotel, Keros beach is famous for its calm, warm waters and close-to-perfect wind conditions during the summer months. Kite surfing here is truly a breeze! There are three kite surfing schools are based at Keros beach that provide kiters and surfers with the necessary equipment for harnessing the power of the winds. Have fun as you rip into the swells and glide over the waves all day until late in the afternoon, and then return back to the unique comfort and relaxation of Varos Village. The hotel features a seasonal shuttle service to/from Kotsinas and Keros beach on request. Additionally, free vouchers for beginners are provided by the hotel as well as special discount lessons packages for Varos Village Guests only!
