Paracuru
Paracuru is the local riders' favorite—known for its consistent wind, laid-back town, and mix of conditions. You’ll start the trip here, getting warmed up on a spot that works for all levels. There's a sandy bottom, mellow wave zone, and flat water inside the reef depending on the tide. Bonus: sunset local drink and fresh grilled fish after your session? Yes, please.

Taíba
The progression playground. Just a short drive away, Taíba is a dream come true for anyone wanting to level up. There's a flat water lagoon perfect for practicing transitions, jumps, or just cruising confidently. This is the spot where people tend to have their “aha!” moments on the water.

Icaraí
The hidden germ you didn't know you need. This coastal town is where time slows down. You’ll find open beaches with plenty of space to ride, warm water, and a sleepy vibe that invites you to just be. It’s perfect for relaxed sessions, sunset hangouts, and reconnecting with yourself or new friends over a post-kite coconut.

Ilha do Guajiru
Brazil's flat water heaven. This is one of the most famous flat water spots in Brazil—and for good reason. A huge lagoon opens up at low tide with glassy water and steady wind, ideal for improving your skills or going full freestyle. We stay just steps away from the lagoon, so you can ride, chill, repeat. It's also where the crew starts to feel like a little family.

Guriú
Nature’s final gift before Jericoacora. Guriú is raw and beautiful. You’ll kite along untouched coastline, pass through mangroves, and finish your session in a place that feels like the edge of the world. It's the perfect mix of peaceful nature and a little adventure. Plus, we'll toast to the end of the ride with a drink under the stars.

About Us

"My name is Carol. I’m the founder of Ventus—where unforgettable kitesurfing and wingfoiling adventures come to life.

I’ve always been obsessed with chasing the wind, discovering new spots, and sharing the stoke with others. Over the years, I’ve lived in some wild and beautiful places—Brazil, Colombia, Kenya, Zanzibar, Madagascar—and along the way, I’ve kited in epic conditions, met incredible local communities, and soaked up every bit of the adventure.

Starting Ventus was my way of blending everything I love: riding, exploring, connecting with people, and creating experiences that go way beyond the usual trip.

Ventus is about more than just great wind (though we’ve got plenty of that). It’s about sunsets that make you stop and stare, dinners under the stars, fresh coconuts after your session, and the kind of moments that stay with you long after the trip ends.

Ways to get to the camp

The closest airport to the starting point of the trip is Fortaleza (FOR). There are daily direct flights from Miami and other European destinations. There is also an airport in Jericoacora (JJD) which can be best for the Wild Wind Route. Lastly, there is an airport in São Luiz (SSE) which is closer to Atins and you can fly out of this airport if would like to.

Is the trip suitable for families?
Yes, our trips are family-friendly and designed to accommodate different skill levels. There are also opportunities for cultural immersion and non-kitesurfing activities for all family members.

What safety measures are in place during the trip?
Safety is our top priority. Our expert guides will always be in the water to assist, guide, and provide rescue support if needed. We also carry safety equipment such as radios and first-aid kits

How does transportation work during the trip?
We provide comfortable local transportation between all spots, including 4x4 vehicles for off-road access. For the extended route, boat transportation is included for remote locations

What is a downwind? Can I do downwinders on the trip?
Just like how you can move from one spot to another in a car during a road trip you can do the same in the water with your kite. This is a downwinder! In Brazil, there are over hundred of kilometers of downwinders to choose from. Yes, both routes offer the possibility of downwinders from one spot to another, giving you the flexibility to explore various locations along the coast.

Itinerary:
Day 1-2: Arrival & Kitesurf & Wing Foil in Paracuru & Taiba
Transfer to Paracuru, a perfect spot to warm up for the adventure ahead. This destination offers a mix of flat water and gentle waves, making it ideal for all levels. Settle into your accommodation and enjoy your first session in Brazil’s steady, reliable winds. Wrap up the day with a delicious beachfront dinner, soaking in the tropical vibes.

Day 3: Kitesurf & Wing Foil in Icaraizinho
Travel to the charming coastal town of Icaraizinho, where a vast bay with steady side-onshore winds creates the perfect playground for kitesurfing and wing foiling. Spend the day exploring different spots, with the option to ride small waves or stay in the protected flat-water areas. Enjoy a laid-back evening in this picturesque fishing village.

Day 4: Secret Lagoon Session in Icaraizinho
Discover Icaraizinho’s hidden lagoon, a remote flat-water paradise with perfect conditions for freestyle and progression. Spend the morning enjoying this uncrowded spot before heading back for another ocean session in the afternoon. As always, downwinders are optional, so those who prefer to stay and practice in one area can do so. End the day with a sunset drink and fresh local seafood.

Day 5: Transfer to Ilha do Guajirú & Kiting/Winging in the Lagoon
Head to Ilha do Guajirú, one of Brazil’s most famous flat-water lagoons. With kilometers of waist-deep, butter-flat water, this spot is a dream for all levels. Spend the afternoon practicing new tricks or refining your skills with expert guidance. In the evening, enjoy a beachfront dinner and unwind under the stars.

Day 6: Arrival in Jericoacoara & Secret Spot Near Preá
Transfer to the famous Jericoacoara, one of Brazil’s most iconic beach towns. From here, we head to a hidden kitesurfing spot near Preá, where the wind is strong and reliable, and the water is pristine. After a full day on the water, enjoy Jeri’s vibrant atmosphere with live music and a relaxed beachside dinner.

Day 7: Kiting /Winging in Guriú & Final Sunset Session
For the last full day, we head to Guriú, where a beautiful river mouth meets the ocean, creating perfect kiting & winging conditions. The mix of flat water and ocean swells makes for a fun, varied session. As the sun sets, reflect on the week’s adventures with a farewell dinner on the beach.

Day 8: Departure or Extension
The trip ends in Jericoacoara, where you can choose to transfer to the airport or extend your stay for extra days. Alternatively, you can join the Wild Wind Route, an extended  journey to Atins for the ultimate Brazilian kiting & wing foiling adventure

This is for the riders craving more: more distance, more variety, more magic. You’ll kite through vast stretches of untouched beach, over river mouths, and across the shifting sands of Lençóis Maranhenses (Atíns)—a surreal national park where sand dunes meet crystal lagoons.

Day 1: Arrival in Jericoacoara & Transfer to Barra Grande
Meet your group in Jericoacoara and kick off the adventure with a scenic transfer to Barra Grande. Once there, jump straight into an afternoon kite session in one of Brazil’s top flatwater spots. Settle in, connect with your crew, and enjoy the energy of this vibrant kite village.

Day 2: Kitesurf & Wing Foil in Macapá
After breakfast, head to Macapá — a hidden gem offering mirror-flat lagoons and reliable wind. It’s the perfect playground to build confidence and refine your technique. Spend the full day on the water and wrap it up with a laid-back evening by the beach.

Day 3: Kitesurf & Wing Foil in Delta do Parnaíba
Today we ride through the magical Delta do Parnaíba, where mangroves, shifting dunes, and winding waterways create a one-of-a-kind kiting experience. Explore this wild, scenic environment before settling into a peaceful eco-lodge in nature.
 
Day 4: Kite/Wing in Arpoador
Discover Arpoador, a remote and tranquil beach with wide-open space and dependable wind. It’s ideal for freeriding, relaxing, and enjoying the rhythm of the north coast. Recharge here before we make our final push toward the dunes.

Day 5: Transfer to Atins & Kite/Wing in Atins
We journey to Atins, the gateway to the legendary Lençóis Maranhenses. Upon arrival, gear up for a session on Atins’ expansive beaches, known for steady wind and scenic surroundings. A perfect introduction to this remote kiting paradise.

Day 6: Kitesurf & Wing Foil in Lençóis Maranhenses
A truly unforgettable day. If conditions allow, we kite through the otherworldly landscape of Lençóis Maranhenses — where rolling white sand dunes meet turquoise lagoons. One of the most surreal and breathtaking kite sessions on the planet.

Day 7: Full Day Kiting/Winging in Atins
Spend your final full day riding in Atins. Whether you're pushing limits, cruising with the crew, or soaking in the views, today is about enjoying every last moment. End the adventure with a celebratory seafood dinner under the stars.

Day 8: Transfer Back to Jericoacoara
Say farewell to Atins and return to Jericoacoara via scenic transfer. From there, continue your travels or head to the airport with unforgettable memories and new kite family connections.
