The Feel Good Surf Camp is situated at the foot of the sand dunes of Moliets beach, in the 3* camping site Les Cigales, surrounded by the beautiful pine forests of Landes. The camp is only 5 minutes walk to the nearest shops and markets, beach and other local amenities. The feel good camping site is situated at the back of Les Cigales in a secluded spot with barbecues and washroom's right next door. The Southwest costal region of France provides excellent and consistent surfing conditions, with the perfect waves for anyone !!

 The target age of the Feel Good Surf Camp is 18+. We aim to provide long summer nights and party's with a relaxed atmosphere through the day (50 people max.). the camp is international and invites anyone from anywhere!

 The feel good camp is brand new this year, simply an idea and passion from our associated surf shop, soon line and it's owners Eric Gatti and Joke Devooght. The team is comprised of enthusiastic and friendly people from all over Europe!

 The camp is situated in the heart of the beautiful pine forests of Landes, around 5 minutes walk to Moliets beach.

Each guest will share a spacious 4-persons tent (please bring your own sleeping bag, pillow roll matt and/or inflatable mattress). The central part of the camp has been converted into a party and chill-out area, allowing you to socialise with other guests and the team , listen to music, use the skate ramp and slack line or just hang out in the hammocks.

Les Cigales camp site provides modern wash facilities, laundry facilities, electricity and even wifi!!

 Our half-board option includes:

- A complete breakfast (hot beverages, fresh fruits, smoothies, cereals, French baguette with butter and jam, cheese, eggs, bacon, etc.)
- A snack and drink to have lunch in the camp or take with you to the beach!
- A delicious balanced dinner, either at the camp or in one of our associated restaurants in Moliets!

If you require a vegetarian menu or you have special dietary requirements, we can adapt the menu’s to your preference!

SURF COURSE DETAILS

---

 At the feel good camp, we offer a full week surfing course, 1h30 per day from Monday to Friday. A qualified instructor will lead the group to practice in the safest conditions, most adapted to your level so everybody can enjoy surfing or learn how to surf with your own style. At the end of the week, those who wish can participate in a competition to have a chance to win a lot of great prizes.

SURF MATERIALS

Equipment is available for free all day long, for those who want to surf (boards and wetsuits), skate (street and long boards) or play on the beach (beach-volley balls, slackline, raquets, etc.). There is a range of surf boards from beginner foam boards to fibreglass short/long boards.

OTHER ACTIVITIES

---

 At the feel good camp we have the same passion about skateboarding as we do with surfing! A qualified instructor will lead you to the skate parks surrounding Moliets and show you all that you’ve always wanted to know about skateboarding, bowls, parks or just cruising around. Lessons last around 1h30 per day from Monday to Friday (2h/day, including transfers). At the end of the week, as for surfers, the efforts given and enthusiasm shown will be awarded by great prices and gadgets!

The location of the camp makes it perfect for all kinds of outdoor sports such as mountain biking, stand-up paddle, kayak, paint ball, horse riding etc. You can thus switch from one activity of your choice to another everyday! Others workshops will also be included such as yoga, photography, film, music, and anything you can think of ! everything is possible, it’s up to you to tell us what you’d like best!

SURF CONDITIONS

---

Breaks directly at the main spot and at nearby spots

Moliets beach is an exposed beach break that has consistent surf and can work at any time of the year. Offshore winds are from the east. Most of the surf here comes from ground swells and the best swell direction is from the west. The beach break offers both left and right hand waves.

Nearby breaks include the famous wave of La Graviere at Hossegor, and a bit further, the legendary town of Biarritz !

Water temperature : 20°c
Air temperature : 25-30°c
Wind : usually offshore the morning, turns onshore in the early afternoon
Waves : 0,50m - 1,50m

Crowd factor and local people

Moliets converts into a vibrant beach town during summer, insuring lots of socialising and long summer evenings. Local people are the same as anywhere else: say hello, be respectful, and they will invite you for a barbecue at night!

Ways to get to the camp

There are several options for you to get to the camp :

- By plane: landing at Biarritz, Bordeaux or San Sebastien
- By train: the closest station is Dax
- By car sharing (check sites like covoiturage.fr)

Transfer to and from stations/airports provided for an extra cost (around €40)
