3Sixty Kite School Tarifa offers accommodation in a kite house, which is a big apartment shared with other kitesurfers who are living the same expecience as you in the world of kitesurfing. We offer private and double rooms with living room, kitchen and shared bathrooms. The kite house has a spacious zone to dry your wetsuit and other kiting equipment and garden with BBQ. All the rooms are cozy with original furniture and surf style paintings. We recommend kite house to all kitesurfers who want enjoy Tarifa with others and get to know new people.

Hostel in the center of Tarifa
The hostel is located just a few meters away from the old town and the beach. The area is peaceful but close to shops and all the services available. It has an Andalucian type patio where you can enjoy your free time or a traditional Andalucian style breakfast. All sport enthusiasts are very welcome and the hostel provides a safe storage possibility to your equipment in large closets. The hostel has a capacity of 37 rooms, including private, double and triple rooms, all very comfortable and with private bathroom. They have many years of experience in satisfying customers and they provide comfort with latest technology and wifi in all rooms. Apartment in Tarifa
3Sixty Kite School Tarifa collaborates with a number of different size apartments, some located very close to Playa de Los Lances 5 minutes walk away from the old town and others right in the center of the old town. All the apartments are spacious and have a lot of light, they are ideal for a family or a group of friends. They are furnished and very cozy. The apartments have 1,2 or 3 bedrooms, equipped kitchen, living room with TV and one or two bathrooms. Some of the apartments are located in residence with private swimming pool.

SURF COURSE AND ACTIVITIES

In 3Sixty Kite School Tarifa we offer a large variety of kite courses for beginners and advanced.

The courses can be divided in five groups with different levels and modalities: group courses, small group courses, semiprivate courses and private courses, among which you can choose the one that suits your needs. Every day the course follows a program, established by IKO, which helps you progress safely and easily to the next level. If you already have some knowledge you can move straight to the level that you belong without having to repeat all the course from the beginning.

The kite school is open all year round and we organize kite lessons every day. Usually the lessons start between 11:00am and 3:00pm depending on the direction, quality and intensity of the wind and of course your schedule. The exact hour of starting will be determined one or two days before the beginning of the course, this way we can choose the best condition of wind in order for you to learn and progress in the best way possible.

All of our instructors are certified with IKO level 3, the highest level in IKO ranking, and they also have first aid training which needs to be renewed every two years. The courses can be organized in Spanish, Italian, English, German and French.

All the material we have are current year's equipment from North Kiteboarding, one of the best brands on the market. We have complete sets of kites in different models and sizes: from 4 to 12 meters. Twintip boards from 130cm to 140cm and surfkite boards from 5'4'' to 6'0''.

In 3Sixty Kite School Tarifa we offer you a series of services in order for you to enjoy your vacation and kitesurfing in Tarifa to the fullest! Our kite school is located near the beach with a storage for kiting equipment, rescue boat and customized transport service. Balneario

Location: This is the fisrt beach just next to la Isla de la Paloma, which separates Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea. It is situated in the center of Tarifa just 200 meters away from the harbor.

Services: 2 bars, 2 parking lots, public showers (available 8-10 months a year)

Beach: Fine sand and no stones, the seabed is sand as well

Use of the beach: Kitesurfing is prohibited from 15th June until 15th September, permitted rest of the year

La Jaima

Location: Direct access from Tarifa town to beach, less than 2km away from the port.

Services: 1 bar, 1 parking, private showers and kite pump air compressor provided by the beach bar.

Beach: Fine sand, no stones. The seabed is also fine sand.

Use of the beach: Kitesurfing is prohibited between 15th June and 15th September, permitted during the rest of the year.

Rio Jara / Lagoon

Location: Carretera Nacional 340 highway at 82km. It's possible to arrive from La Jaima or Los Lances by foot.

Services: 1 parking and a bar about 500m away (open only during the summer)

Beach: The beach is fine sand without stones, seabed is sand as well. Lagoon has a mix of sand and mud.

Use of the beach: From 15th of June to 15th of September kitesurfing is not permitted, rest of the year permitted only in the water. In the Lagoon practicing kitesurfing is prohibbed all year, there are controls on behalf of the authorities.

Los Lances

Location: Beach stretches from Río Jara to Arte Vida

Services: 2 public carparks at a walking distance from the beach, 5 bars (some open all year round, some 8 months of the year), private showers, air compressor pumps for your kites provided by the majority of the bars. Rescue boat during the high season.

Beach: Fine, white sand with small stones in areas. The majority of the seabed is pure sand, with stones mixed in further north up Los Lances beach.

Use of the beach: Kitesurf is permitted all year round. Between 15 June - 15 September kitezones are set out along the beach. The majority of the beach is dedicated to kitesurf but there is also a zone for windsurfers and a small zone for swimmers. The zones are not particularly clearly marked, but you should nevertheless try to keep to your zone to avoid any accidents.

Valdevaqueros

Location: Carretera Nacional 340 al km 76

Services: 1 carpark just a walk from the beach, 4 bars, showers and air compressor pumps in the majority of bars.

Use of the beach: Kitesurf is permitted all year round. Between 15 June - 15 September kitezones are set out along the beach. The majority of the beach is dedicated to kitesurf but there is also a zone for windsurfers and a small zone dedicated to swimmers. The zones are not particularly clearly marked, but you should nevertheless keep out of the Windsurf zone to avoid accidents.

Punta Paloma

Location: Carretera Nacional 340 al km 74

Services: 1 carpark just a walk from the beach (public/private : in summer you tend to need to pay for parking), 4 bars, showers and air compressor pumps in the majority of bars.

Beach use: Kitesurf is permitted all year round. Between 15 June - 15 September, kitezones are implemented along the beach. The majority is dedicated to kitesurf, there is a zone for windsurfers and a small zone dedicated to swimmers. It must be said that the zones are not particularly clear, but you should nevertheless try to avoid the other zones in order to avoid any dangerous accident.

Ways to get to the camp

The school is situated by la Carretera Nacional 340 highway at 81,5km. It is right in front of la Playa de Los Lances where begins the zone reserved for kite schools and kitesurf. The flags with our school's logo can be seen from the highway. If you are in Tarifa without means of transport, you can take a bus that goes to the direction of the beaches. Take the first stop at camping Rio Jara, we are located about 100 meters from there. If you don't have a car or the buses are not running, we also offer free transport to all of our students.

Our kite school offer customized transport to all the clients with a very competitive price. At the moment transport is available from all the main airports in southern Andalucia: Malaga, Sevilla, Jerez de la Frontera and Gibraltar. We pick you up directly at the exit of the airport and bring you straight to your accommodation (hotel, hostel, apartment etc.) in Tarifa.The basic transport has a maximum capacity of 4 passengers with luggage. If you come carrying your own board or other equipment, let us know when making the reservation. To a group bigger than 4 people it is possible to arrange transport with Group Transport.

Kitesurfing Camp in Tarifa - Kite Camp program during the Week

Every day of the week (we recommend Saturday) - arrival / check in from 15.00

During the week for 6 consecutive days:
- 10:30 am pick up at the kite house ot at the kite hostel - 11.00 am briffing and equipment set-up - 11.30 am camp beginning and kitesurfing lessons until 3.30 pm - 4.00 pm cleaning and equipment check-up - 5.00 pm back to the accommodation.

One day a week, usually on Friday evening - time to be determined - Goodbye with dinner, tapas and party!

Last day of the kite camp (recommended Saturday) - departure / check out before 12.00

IMPORTANT!

Below are an examples of prices for a standard weekly package and include 7 nights of accommodation, 6 days kitesurfing camp with 4 hours lessons per day (24-hour course in total).

For example:
- Entrance / check-in on Saturday
- Kitesurf course on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
- Departure / check out on Saturday.

It is possible to change the days of the Kite Camp and Accommodation according to your availability. You can start any day of the week and change the number of days, reducing or adding more days course and accommodation. This is a prices for a standard package. Its includes 7 nights of accommodation, 6 days with 4 hour a day of lessons (24 hour in total) ** In case one or more days will be no wind, the amount of the loose day will be discounted from the total package ammount. Remember that you can change the days of the lessons and accommodation according to your availability. You can start any day of the week and change the number of days of the camp, reducing or adding them for both, lessons and accommodation.
