Specialty
Joshua is a water born person who was fortunate enough to grow up with the ocean on his doorstep. His main passion in life is kitesurfing and he has managed to build a career out of it. He has achieved international success on the big air stage of the sport, having won one the biggest competitions, the Redbull Megaloop Challenge. He is renowned in the kite world for going the biggest and pushing the limits.

Specialty
Lorenzo has been kitesurfing since he was seven years old. It has been a lifelong passion for him, allowing him to travel the world. During his time abroad, he worked as a kite instructor on superyachts in places like Fiji. Now that he’s back in Durban, he’s pursued his dream of launching Fruitloops with the same person who he started his kitesurfing journey with. Together, Lorenzo and Joshua hope to take kitesurfing to new heights in South Africa.

Indulge in Cocktails from our fully serviced pool bar or take time to sit around the evening log fire with a glass of red wine. Eight rooms are en-suite with double beds. Three rooms have the option of splittable beds.

A beat on the drums calls everyone to the dinner table to enjoy our traditional Mozambican cuisine, whilst overlooking unspoiled views of the Maputo Bay.
Wine and hard liquor will be available at our fully stocked bar that overlooks the pool and will be at your own account.

Inhaca Island

The Place To Be

Join us as we explore these spectacular Islands in Mozambique and seek the perfect conditions for our kitesurfing and wing foil enthusiasts. This all-inclusive experience will offer incredible kiting in blue water paradise and will be hosted by Joshua Emanuel & Lorenzo Valenti and our team of instructors. The trip is open to everyone! Sandbanks and butter flat water make the spots ideal for any level of riding, whether you are a first-time kiter or trying to advance your riding in different areas.

Experience great morning kite sessions in front of the lodge and explore different spots based on the forecast for the day. Our team of IKO instructors will be assisting in lessons for any level of riding and the boat will be present at all times for rescues and transfer.

Experienced riders can enjoy a downwind back to the lodge in the afternoon, accompanied by a boat to assist with landing kites and to enjoy the African sunset.

Another downwind, from Inhaca Island's Lighthouse to Portuguese Island, is also available for experienced riders. This requires organization beforehand and involves open ocean kiting, so experience in waves is necessary. A team member will guide and assist throughout the downwind, and a vehicle fee of €15 per person applies.
