100 meters away from Playa norte and on the other side 150-200 m from olas caballeros, having view directly to the biggest wave in Per Pico Alto, Punta Hermosa is famous for its consistency, you can surf any day here, all year round.

CAMP CHARACTER

It is a hotel like building with a good vibe and oriented to surf, we have 80+ boards to rent and wetsuits. Areas to chill and enjoy the ocean view and the waves literally everywhere. Tables so you can work while looking at waves plenty of space to do yoga sessions with others, balance boards and other toys to help with your surfing abilities.

Abraham Bravo is a long time soul surfer and traveller that loves showing people the local surf and also other breaks not so far from here, always stoked and happy to help, will ensure you have a great time here, comfortable and eating great food!

We eat mostly at the hotel, though we sometimes take guests out for nice ceviche by the beach! Breakfast is like a small buffet, lunch, around 1pm is a 2 course meal and dinner around 7pm one plate. All home made food cooked with organic products, we also cater for vegetarians, vegans and celiacs.

We are open all year and anyone can join at any time, lessons are one on one with an instructor, in English, hour and a half of instruction out and in water then you could stay longer on your own if you wish and also have the equipment available in case you want to try it again on your own later

We have beginner boards, Soft tops and all types of fiberglass boards and wetsuits for our different seasons, all sizes.

OTHER ACTIVITIES

We go on day surf trips to nearby beaches up to 100km away depending on conditions, some beaks can get epic, also yoga available, bicycles, scooter, and other things to help enjoy your stay here.

SURF CONDITIONS

---

Punta Hermosa is famous because of  are several breaks in a short distance, 5km, 12 breaks. For all leves from beginners, long fun rights and lefts to big and giant waves, no place like it.

Seasonal conditions

surf is all year round, summer from December to March has best weather, can be crowded, and smaller waves, perfect to practice if not an expert, then winter coldest temps around 15°C and bigger swells, more often.

Crowd factor and local people

There is no localism around this area, might get crowded in summer, specially weekends, but there are plenty of breaks around.

Characterization of surroundings/region

we’re an hit away from the capital city Lima, so it is far and at the same time close enough, it used to be a little town, but it has developed a lot of buildings and can get really busy in summer months. People see really helpful and many locals speak good level English, either way they are very open to engage conversation.

There are dance clubs, bars and plenty of restaurant options in the area, off season not too many, but over the weekend there is always something to do.

Ways to get to the camp

airport is an hour and a half away, pick up costs $45US, it is possible to come taking 2 buses, 3 hours and about $4US.
