Surf Hostel Conil
Surf Club Hostel is located in Conil de la Frontera, just 100 meters from the beach. We offer shuttle service between the surf school in El Palmar and the hostel in Conil. We are one of the first eco-friendly hostels in Spain, certified with the ECOlabel©.

Beachfront Surf School
Our surf school is located on the beachfront of El Palmar, a renowned surfing destination in Andalusia. The climate, the quality and consistency of the waves make it the ideal place to learn to surf.

Many of us feel that connection to the sea, which is why we're part of the HURLEY Surf Club family. It's a club where we come together, share experiences, and above all, transmit the passion we feel for surfing. We don't want you to come for a lesson; we want you to learn to surf, and to do that, you need to immerse yourself in the sport every day. Being a member of our club will allow you to progress and, above all, have a family that will support you throughout the process of experiencing the full spectrum of surfing.

Stay!
Our Surf Club Hostel is the perfect blend of hotel and hostel. We offer private rooms and single beds for solo travelers. You can stay for a night, weeks, a month, or as long as you like. Thanks to our "pod bed" concept, you'll experience maximum privacy, even in the dorms. There's a communal kitchen, cozy common rooms, and a coworking space with high-speed Wi-Fi.

Lots of delicious things! At TAKE Surfcamp Andalucía we will not tell you when and what to eat. Choose yourself. Conil and El Palmar are full of good restaurants. Enjoy traditional Andalusian cuisine or watch the waves from one of the beach restaurants

We also have a kitchen at TAKE Hostel Conil, where you can cook your own meals, if you have a tight budget or a special diet plan to take into account.

AND WHAT ARE THE CLASSES?
The best surf classes in Andalusia! The groups are small, so there will never be more than 5 students per monitor. The surf classes last 2 hours and we always try to do them in the morning so that you can enjoy the rest of the day doing other activities or more surfing. It doesn't matter what your level is! We have classes for all levels and we adapt to the needs and times of each student.

Surf lessons for all levels
Whatever your level or age, we have the perfect surf course for you in El Palmar. Lessons for beginners, intermediate, or advanced levels. We offer group and private lessons. Lessons for children. Talk to us and tell us your goals; we'll find the perfect course for you. Take a surf lesson with us and experience one of the best surf spots in Andalusia (undoubtedly the hottest surf spot in Spain) right in front of our school in El Palmar.

TRANSFERS INCLUDED to surf
Likewise, we are always looking for the perfect wave, so we travel to Barbate, Conil de la Frontera or Malaga in search of the best conditions.

Surf lessons for beginners.
The perfect time and place. In our introductory classes, you'll learn the basic techniques to feel comfortable in the water. The first step is mastering the famous "take-off" (standing up on your feet). Good technique is always important, so we'll teach you step by step.

WHAT ARE OUR BEGINNER CLASSES LIKE?
All our groups are small (no more than 5 people), allowing the instructor to dedicate the necessary time and attention to you to achieve great results.
Beginner classes last 2 hours and include all equipment (board and wetsuit).
Class times change depending on sea conditions and tide times, so you will need to check with us a few days before your class to confirm the schedule.

Surf lessons for all levels 
Whatever your level or age, we have the perfect surf course for you in El Palmar. Lessons for beginners, intermediate, or advanced levels. We offer group and private lessons. Lessons for children. Take a surf lesson with us and experience one of the best surf spots in Andalusia (undoubtedly the hottest surf spot in Spain) right in front of our school in El Palmar.

Our private lessons in El Palmar last 1.5 hours, with a maximum group size of 3 people (1 for €60, 2 for €40, 3 for €35 per person), and equipment (board and wetsuit) is included.

Please confirm availability with us a few days in advance, as wave and sea conditions can vary.

SURF MATERIALS

HIGH-END SURF EQUIPMENT
All the equipment at our school is high-end and included in the price of lessons. We use Hurley wetsuits and rash guards, and Mobyk softboards. If you're more advanced, we also have fiberglass boards, progressive boards, and 6-foot softboards to help you progress in your surfing.

Friends, Surfing, and Multilingual Lessons

We're surf experts! We've ridden waves all over the world, and together we offer decades of experience on the waves and as surf instructors. At Hurley Surf Club El Palmar, all instructors are ENS 1 certified. We offer lessons in Spanish, English, and French. (Contact us if you'd like a lesson in another language.)

Yoga Balance Board
Have you ever practiced yoga on a balance board? Our yoga boards encourage you to practice your balance throughout the class and are perfect for surf training. These yoga classes are 100% surf-oriented, the perfect complement to your surfing workout, and last one hour and fifteen minutes.

Vinyasa Yoga in El Palmar
After a long day of surfing or sightseeing, restore your body with a calming yoga class. This 75-minute class is designed to gently release tension through slow, controlled movement in sync with your breath. Ideal for relieving stress and finding comfort and space within your body.

The session is particularly well-suited for surfers, allowing them to deepen their practice and improve their range of motion.

SUMMER AND INFINITE SURF
We do surf camps in El Palmar and Conil throughout the year, the waves never stop! That's why neither do we. The climate of the area and the consistency of the waves allow us to enjoy the surf and the sun all year round. We know that each person is different, which is why we offer different types of surfcamps adapted to the needs of each client and their levels.

CAN YOU GO ALONE?
TAKE surfcamps in El Palmar and Conil are designed to adapt to groups of friends, couples or people who come alone. It is the perfect place and situation to meet new people from other places who want to have fun and have a good time, so if you are thinking of coming alone – go ahead!

Ways to get to the camp

Our surf school is located on the shore of El Palmar beach. Transfers between the beach and the Conil Hostel are included in the price of the classes, so you can forget about taking the car to go to the beach.
