Summary
Lo Stagnone is a unique place in Sicily and will give you a kite experience you have always searched for. No matter if you are just starting or you are already an experienced rider, Marsala will not disappoint you! The amazing shallow water gives you and easy place to practice kitesurf while the thermal wind conditions ensure your well spent kitesurfing holiday! The main wind direction is Mistral which hits the kite lagoon from the North-West while in other days the warm Sirocco comes from the South-East.
Kitesurf is a sport where a parachute due to the power of the wind pulls a surfer on the water's surface. Jumps are technical things, nobody can fly away with gusts. The kite instruction started with small kites respecting the IKO ( Internationa Kiteboarding Organization) rules. Safety protection and equipment are provided during the kitesurf course in the nice and shallow lagoon of Marsala. Everybody can stand here which give an easier and safer course. A kite course in made within a few days.

ABOUT THE SURF CAMP
LOCATION AND SURF CONDITIONS
The amazing shallow water gives you and easy place to practice kitesurf while the thermal wind conditions ensure your well spent kitesurfing holiday! The venturi effect and the termal condition makes Stagnone one of the windiest kite spot of Europe! Many days when the forecast doesn't say any wind we still recive often strong, termal winds.
CAMP CHARACTER
No matter if you are just starting or you are already an experienced rider, Marsala will not disappoint you! Stagnone has a lot to offer with it's good condition to ride for any level's of kitesurfers. We start from 9-10 year old and there is no age limits as our many over 60 customers prooves too!
ACCOMMODATION AND CATERING
ACCOMMODATION TYPES
100m from the kite spot with view to the lagoon of Stagnone. Excellent choice for all riders and families as well. Freshly refurbished apartments with 2-3 rooms, bathroom, kitchen and washing machine in all apartments. 4 apartments in total, 3- with 2 room and 1- 3 room apartman. Each of them can take spare beds (normal beds) in case you plan to come with your company. Enjoy our roof top terrace and watch the sunset over the Stagnone lagoon!

Ways to get to the camp
CAR
Our kite spot Lo Stagnone lays between the cities of Marsala and Trapani. To get to Level Up Kite, enter the village of Birgi Vecchi. In Birgi Vecchi, search the Hotel Santa Maria, turn left at the hotel, to the beach and we are at the very end of the road on the left!
AIRPLANE
Several airports Sicilly has to reach from all Europe. The closest to our kite spot is the airport of Trapani which is around 10 minutes drive to the kite spot however the Palermo airport (1 hour) might offers you more options in flights. From both airports you can ask us for airport transfer!
FERRY
Sicyli can be reached by ferry over Several ports from Italy, France and Spain.

Get the feeling of kitesurfing! Getting familiar with the theory and after flying a trainer kite, learning all the basic manouvers. It’ s easier than you think! group lesson

Want to have a refresh kite course or not sure to take a longer time? In case you start from zero you will have a great control over the kite in 3 hours! The group lesson is max. 2 persons (made in 1 to 2 days)
PACKAGE C - 6 HOURS KITE COURSE - from 260€ per 6h/ Person

Start with the trainer kite (if you did so, than start from that point) and than set up an inflatabke kite. Learn the set-up, safety, using short lines to make it easier. After the kite set-up we learn the manoovers , kite relaunch, body surf and then start with the board. The group lesson is max. 2 persons (made in 2 to 3 days)
PACKAGE D - 9 HOURS KITE COURSE - from 355€ per 9h / Person

In 9 hours you can learn all the basics from kite control till standing up on the board. This course allows you to have several hours riding on board. Usually come with a nice result of riding left and right medium distances. The group lesson is max. 2 persons (made in 3 to 4 days)
