Originally from Safi in Morocco. He started surfing when he was 8 years old and since, his passion for the sport is growing more and more.

After leaving Safi, he went to Casablanca for his studies. It will allow him to keep surfing and enjoying his passion to the fullest, surrounded by the ocean in Morocco.

Few years later, he had the chance to be helped by sponsors (Banque Populaire and Rip Curl); thanks to them he will live his  biggest dream: be on the world tour to represent Morocco. Then he has been traveling to the most beautiful Surf countries in the world (Portugal, Canarias, France, Hawaii, Brazil, Australia, Indonesia, Puerto Rico…) During the Surf contests he will discover some amazing things: other cultures, other landscapes, meet some people, from that he willl bring all this moment together to build his own Surf camp in Morocco Taghazout/Tamraght  « Sunshine Surf Morocco »  He will put all his soul, his strength and his taste for creation, to show and be in the surf world, which the philosophy is sharing. He loves meeting people, culture and new civilization that has the same love for surfing as him. Traveling a lot from the north to the south of Morocco on surf trips, he discovered all Morocco surf spots and has a good knowledge of the area. He will bring you to the best Morocco surf Spots. Reda knows that he will fulfill his dream, to build an amazing place to learn and enjoy surfing in Morocco.

Located just a few meters away from the beach, Sunshine Surf Morocco is a surf and bodyboard school open to all surf lovers, beginner and advanced. So we offer you several options, surf lessons, individual lessons per week, surf training with or without accommodation.

Depending on your level and on the swells, our instructors will be happy to guide you through an area of 200 km to enjoy every surfing day and have the best surf conditions.

Difficult to navigate with such a variety of waves. Bring equipment to suit your ability and swells you want to surf. Mid-winter waves can get up to 15ft, so if you want to surf them bring something suitable. Sunshine Surf Morocco provide you with every shape and size of board; wetsuits and everything needed. These are all included in the full package price.

Seasonal conditions

Sunshine Surf Morocco open all year round. And it is not for nothing! Morocco is an all year round outstanding surf destination, and the weather is warm, especially in its Southern part where we are situated. The water in Morocco never tends to drop lower than 16-17 degrees Celsius at any time so you should be ok with a summer suit. In summer, swells are small to medium. They are months May to September. Nevertheless, there are some bigger days during this time for those looking for something more challenging. The winter swells are more consistent and happens really big ones roll in. Sun shines in Morocco for at least 300 days a year. The weather is mild. Between November and February, there is a small chance of rain, although statistically it is unlikely.

Characterization of surroundings/region

Morocco is one of the most tolerant Muslim countries out there. Shorts, t-shirts, flip-flops all are suitable. Swimming costumes and bikinis are normal on the beach. However if you are walking in the town it is advisable to cover your hands and not to open your legs too much. We just would ask that all our clients respect local customs. Warm clothes are a good idea in a winter period, because evenings could be chill.

Ways to get to the camp

The easiest way to get to Agadir is fly to Agadir Al Massira Airport (AGA). It is served by Royal Air Maroc, British Airways, Easyjet, Ryanair, Thomas Cook, TUI, Transavia. The flying time from London is just three hours, from other major European airports is between 2-5 hours. If you are travelling from the USA you can connect either in Casablanca or at a European airport as there are no direct flights to Agadir. From the Agadir Al Massira Airport it’s a 40 min drive north along the picturesque coast road. If you find it more convenient to fly to Marrakech Menara Airport (which offers connections to all over Europe), we will be able to arrange a transfer. Just inform us please, beforehand. Agadir is 160 miles from Marrakech and takes just over two hours to drive on the new motorway and cost approx. 100€ for 4 people.

Important details

Visa is not required to enter Morocco for tourist purposes for EU passport holders, as well as for Russian Federation, the USA and New Zealand citizens. You can stay in Kingdom up to 90 days. Your passport should be valid for at least 6 months before your return date. If you are a citizen of any other country, please, get in touch with your nearest Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco.
