As already mentioned our Hostel is located right next to the beach and you can reach 15 surf spots in walking distance! Also the Hostel is right in the middle of the nightlife!  We are the only surf school located just in the promenade of the Las Canteras beach!

SURF COURSE DETAILS

---

The Brito Brother’s, Isaac and Oswaldo, are ruling the surf school at Las Palmas. Originals from the neigbourhood of Guanarteme, they have been surfing since they were kids at La Cicer beach, their home and local beach. 

Well known by everyone because of their open-minded and respectful character, Isaac and Oswaldo have the need to belong to the ocean and teach their secrets and the way to enjoy  them it’s what full fills their souls. 

Training new generations and showing the meaning and basics of surfing to beginners it’s also they passion. You will find with them a happy and friendly teaching on a familiar and funny atmosphere, far away from the radical pro’s or distant attitude of cold schools. 

They also accomplish with all the requirements of the titulations required having the title of “National Team Surf and Bodyboard” aproved by the Spanish Federation, they have the titles of judges in tha Canary Federation and are actively taking part in local tournaments.

SURF CONDITIONS

---

Breaks directly at the main spot and at nearby spots
La Cicer in Gran Canaria is a fairly exposed beach break that is usually a safe bet, although summer tends to be mostly flat. Works best in offshore winds from the south southwest. Windswells and groundswells in equal measure and the ideal swell direction is from the north northwest. The beach break offers both left and right hand waves. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Sometimes crowded.

Characterization of surroundings/region
Within a few minutes everthing is in walking distance. The people are open and friendly and you have a lot of choice for nightlife, you can decide what music and athmosphere you prefer and then go there. Also we have a lot of different restaurants where you can enjoy cuisines from all over the world.

Ways to get to the camp
The airport is close by to our Hostel only around 30km away and it is easy to just take the local bus right to our Hostel or to get a Taxi which will cost around 35€. 

Also we offer you to pick you up from the airport: one way: 30€ both ways: 60€
