Short bio of the instructor / instructors

Hello! I’m Daniela Carneiro, from Portugal, I’m a surfer and an outdoor lover! I can tell you that surf changed my life. I used to work has an Environmental Engineer, and in 2013 I decided to quit my job and start a trip to explore some of the most amazing places to surf like Portugal, Morocco, Indonesia, Hawaii, Mexico and Brazil. While traveling, I discovered a passion about photography. Since them I’ve been working as a photographer and a surf instructor.
Hi guys, I’m Eduardo Ribeiro. I’m a Portuguese surfer and a longboarder athlete. Teaching water sports is my passion, and you can count with my highly qualified experience. I’m a kite surf instructor and a surf head coach. I started doing road trips 13 years ago to surf and participate in competitions. Soon I realised that every single road trip is magical by itself and I want to share this lifestyle with you.

About us:

We have been traveling for many years in a camper van through Europe and Africa, exploring different cultures, surf spots, making new friends, with the freedom to live each adventure as one.
We wanted to create something different to share this lifestyle and offer people the flexibility to travel with comfort and the best outdoor experiences.
So we created the Truck Surf Hotel that gives the opportunity to explore uncrowded surf spots with the best waves, different natural parks and mountains, live different cultures with a luxurious hotel on wheels that goes everywhere.
Our commitment to the local culture and environment spreads with us to our destinations.
This project is all about sharing travel experiences, making new friends and connecting with each other, combining surf, nature and adventure in a new way of traveling.

ACCOMMODATION AND CATERING

The best mobile accommodation!

The Truck Surf Hotel is a converted Mercedes Actros with a hydraulic system that allow the walls and the sealing to expand. It transforms into an amazing double-decker “hotel on wheels”, giving the space of a home and the best comfort accommodation during your holidays. This innovative mobile hotel will be fully equipped and prepared to ride with you in an unforgettable road trip.

On the first floor, there is living room with couches and a table where you can chill out. There’s also a projector where people can easily watch any footage taken. The kitchen is prepared for self-catering and to cook your meals. There is a toilet and, on a room next to it, a bathroom where you can have a nice warm shower.

Outside the entrance there’s a lounge terrace, with bin bags, to relax and enjoy the beautiful sunsets. Climbing the indoor stairs, there is the upper floor with a main hall to access the five rooms - four shared double rooms with bunk bed, and one private double room with a couple bed.

At the Truck Surf Hotel, you can choose either a bed in a shared double room, witch is more economical, or if you’re traveling with your partner Surf Truck Hotel recommends that you get the private double room. Each room is equipped with air conditioning and a locker, where you can keep your personal belongings. Hygiene and cleanliness is very important to Truck Surf Hotel, so every day the staffers will make sure that the truck is clean and organized for your best comfort..

Daily breakfast is included. During the day you can always use the kitchen to prepare your meals. You can also order traditional food to the Truck Surf Hotel that the local cooks will prepare. The staffers can also recommend you the best restaurants in town. There will be one small fridge for the guests and another one for the team. In the beginning of the week, the group will go to a fresh food market so you can buy the groceries you might need.

Daily schedule

Every morning we will wake up with the best view, serve the buffet breakfast on board, surrounded by nature in natural camping parks. We will take you to amazing places from Essaouira to Agadir, according to the experience you’ve chosen, either is surfing on different beaches along the coast or explore the unique Moroccan culture.
To take the best advantage of our trips we recommend you to come for at least one week, from Saturday to Saturday, so you don’t miss the perfect waves or some of the amazing places we will visit.
In the end of the day relax, take a warm shower inside the Truck, drink a nice cold beer and enjoy the sunset with your friends.

-Arrival by airplane Please book your flight to arrive at Agadir–Al Massira Airport (AGA). Transfer from and to the airport is included (every Saturday's). Truck Surf Hotel will pick you up from the airport.
