ABOUT THE SURF CAMP
LOCATION AND SURF CONDITIONS
Salina Cruz began as a fishing port, giving shelter to the employees of different boats belonging to various corporations. Now, Salina Cruz is an important industrial center of the state of Oaxaca. But more importantly, Salina Cruz is known worldwide for its world-class waves. The wind is one of the main factors in the search for waves, because it is constantly changing during the day. However, this is not the only factor for finding the best waves of the day. Knowledge of the tides, the direction of the waves and the weather conditions are what you need to be in the right place and at the right time
ACCOMMODATION AND CATERING
ACCOMMODATION TYPES
The bungalows has spacious rooms with bathrooms and air conditioning, a living room and dining room with an ocean view. A balcony, straps for surfboards, a garden, and ample parking if you rent a car or bring your own. The bungalows is a 5-minute drive to the first point break, Punta Conejo and another 4 km is punta chivo. The house can sleep up to 13 people.

CATERING
MEXICAN FOOD
We have a dining room where 3 meals will be provided daily. Breakfast begins 6 am (different cereal, fruits, milk, juices, coffee, bread, yogurt, granola, coffee, bread, ham, peanut butter, cheese and more).The kitchen is open 10 am (lots of salads, fish, meat, Oaxacan mole, quesadillas, and typical food of Oaxaca). The meals will change for lunch and dinner.

WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR SURF TRIP?
The surf guide services start at 6.30am daily. We usually surf twice a day, once in the morning and then in the afternoon. We head back to base camp for lunch around midday, but when the swell is very good and there are many waves, we surf all day. Everything depends on the tides and sand bars.

SURROUNDINGS / REGION
We are located in playa brasil in salina cruz . Between two of the best surf spots. 3 km punta conejo and another 6 km punta chivo. With a great view of the sea and with beautiful sunsets. At the back of the community is a lake where a great variety of animal species arrives.
JOURNEY
How to get to Salina Cruz
The nearest airport is in Huatulco. You need to take a flight from your country to Mexico City and then take another flight to Huatulco or direct flight to huatulco. When you arrive to Huatulco Take a 2-hour taxi from the airport in Huatulco to Salina Cruz . The airline that my customers usually use is volaris. It is cheap and comfy.

We have to charge for airport transfer because of the high cost of gasoline in Mexico as well as the lengthy drive from Salina Cruz to the airport in Huatulco
