Because we want you to learn and have a good time, Epic Lanzarote assure you a perfect combination of fun and professionalism in a friendly environment.
We have Surf classes for all levels and we are specialized in small groups (6 pax/instructor)
In our Surf School all our instructors are recognized by the International Surf Asociatiion (ISA) and the Spanish Surf Federation (FCS).
We teach Surf in a fun, simple and safe way, which will make your surf experience with us unforgettable!
Our surf lessons here in Lanzarote will make you feel even more passionate about this sport.
Our surf sessions take place in Famara, on the northwest coast of the island.
With its long sandy beach and year round sea temperature varying between 18 and 24 degrees, Famara is a perfect setting for this sport.
The outside temperature is Spring-like and the natural surrounds are breathtaking.

ABOUT THE SURF CAMP
LOCATION AND SURF CONDITIONS
The house is located less than 100 meters from the beach and 5 minutes walk from supermarkets, bars and restaurants.
Balcony with stunning view to the beach and Famara Cliff (el Risco).
CAMP CHARACTER
You can book lessons with accommodation included in a Surfcamp where you will share a room with other people.
We have 6 places in our surfhouse.
Camps include accommodation + lessons of your level (beginner, intermediate or advanced).
Surfhouse is located less than 100 meters from Famara beach.
Average age is between 25 and 35 years.
People under 18 years old are not allowed in the surfouse.
Dogs are not allowed.
CAMP OPERATOR

The house has a kitchen fully equipped for self catering.

SURF COURSE AND ACTIVITIES
SURF COURSE DETAILS
Thanks to our extensive experience teaching surfing, we have two types of classes:
2-hour surf lessons: Save energy for the next day and take advantage after classes to visit the Island and its corners, enjoy with friends or just relax.
From 10:00 to 12:00
4-hour surf lessons: Designed for true surfing fans, an experience for those who prefer to spend most of their time on the beach surfing.
From 10:00 to 14:00
All courses include a theoretical and a practical part.
We are open all year round.
To book your lessons, one day before of your arrival is enough.
We take lessons in english, spanish and italian.
SURF MATERIALS
We provide Softboards or Epoxy/advanced nboards depending your level
After lessons you can use the surf material for free until 19:00.
OTHER ACTIVITIES<
Kitesurfing lessons, mountain bike rental, yoga lessons, etc.

SURF CONDITIONS
Breaks directly at the main spot and at nearby spots
Beginner lessons will take place in Famara Beach. A 4 kms hazard-free beach break spot perfect for learning.
Intermediate lessons will take place also in Famara beach.
Seasonal conditions
All year round.
Best season: from September to April when we get bigger swells and lower winds.
Water temp is around 20 degree during winter season and 23 during summer time. We recommend 3.2 mm wetsuit during winter months.
Crowd factor and local people
Famara beach is not a crowded place.
The Canary Island people are very friendly.

Famara is located on the North shore of Lanzarote, in a natural reserve. It is a small surfing town and is located a 25-minute drive from Lanzarote’s capital city and airport in Arrecife.
