At the resort, there’s a skatepark for free use, but also for the skate classes, available for all levels of skills.
Within a radius of 10km, there are amazing and unique trails for a great bike ride, whether you want to ride for 1h or for 1 day.
Besides the surf, skate or bike classes, our guests can also enjoy several other services and facilities, such as climbing wall, heated pool, shop, Gym & SPA, yoga, massages, game room, bar, and restaurant.

LOCATION AND SURF CONDITIONS
We are located in Baleal, Peniche one of the best surf towns in Europe, where the WSL takes place at Supertubos, just 5 minutes by car from Ride Resort.
Around Ride Resort there are lots of surf spots, suitable from Beginner to Advanced levels.

ACCOMMODATION TYPES
Elevate your experience with a variety of elegant, comfortable and cozy rooms. Ride Resort offers 3 different types of accommodation: Double, Family or Shared Rooms.
Double Rooms are perfect for a romantic or friendly trip for two, while the Shared Rooms are spacious options for families or large groups (up to 6 beds).
All rooms have private balconies and bathroom and they are all equipped with free Wi-Fi, high-quality bed linens and toiletries, Ultra-soft and non-allergenic pillows, hairdryer, direct telephone and safe. Flat-screen TV with satellite channels are only available on double and family rooms.
Ride Resort rooms are perfect either for short or long stays, combining comfort and quality.
SURF COURSE AND ACTIVITIES
SURF COURSE DETAILS
Certified surf instructors will teach everything you need to know about surf, equipment, weather conditions and security issues. It’s ok if you never even seen a board, or if you don’t know how to dress a wetsuit. Our surf instructors will guide you and teach you, sharing their experience and skills.
SURF MATERIALS
Ride Resort have surfboards for beginner and advanced levels.
Wetsuits for Woman and Man sizes from Ocean and Earth. Every morning the wetsuits are dry and warm due to our unique drying room.

SURF CONDITIONS
Breaks directly at the main spot and at nearby spots
Baleal has a big bay over 4km of sandy beach, so there are lots of places to surf.
The main break is "Cantinho da Baia" works all year around. Good for beginners and intermediate surfers. For advanced surfers, we have Lagide, a reef break just five minutes walking from our resort.
Seasonal conditions
Surf in Peniche is all year round.
Crowd factor and local people
Baleal is a touristic surf region, so there are lots of surf tourists around. Everyone is very friendly in and out of the water.

Characterization of surroundings/region
Peniche is 50 minutes from Lisbon, 15 minutes from the medieval town of Óbidos.
