Surf & Yoga Arugambay is located in beach. Just a short walk from the shore, you'll find a beautiful little cove perfect for sunbathing, swimming, or simply relaxing with a book under a coconut palm. You can stroll along the beach to the right to reach the main beach with its many restaurants, or take a short hike to the left to reach the crest of the hill and visit the other beach, the temple, or enjoy the sunset.

ABOUT THE SURF CAMP
LOCATION AND SURF CONDITIONS
This surf camp will be held in Arugam Bay in Sri Lanka. Arugam Bay is a famous surf village on the east coast of exotic Ceylon. There are more than seven different surf spots, which makes this place so attractive for waves-catchers from all over the world. The landscape and nature are incredible, be ready to meet wild elephants on your way to the spot. Cultural and historic places of interest, safari and all-night parties by the beach are waiting for you in Arugam Bay!
CAMP CHARACTER
Star Rest Surf Camp experienced surf instructors will be there to guide you through two hours of surf lessons per day. Do not worry if you do not have a surfboard as you can rent all the surf equipment provided at the camp. You can also enjoy daily drives to local surf spots; the locations vary depending on the day's wave conditions. Lastly, enjoy a complimentary massage for your sore muscles after a long day of surf lessons and catching waves.
CAMP OPERATOR
Ismail Ansa Ismail will be your instructor during the surf camp. He is also the manager and booking manager of Star Rest Beach Hotel. who grew up with a passion for the sea and started surfing at the age of 15. He is the founder and owner of “ STAR REST SURF CAMP since 2013 & your host as well. He loves to teach our guests how to ride waves, offers great company and insight about his breathtaking culture.
