Stay at the Cheeky Monkey surf camp, close to the main point breaks and one of the oldest Guesthouses with Surf shop in Midigama beach
Our Surf camp Sri Lanka offers a fantastic 180° sea view and a unique tropical atmosphere with monkeys in the palm trees. It is the perfect place to surf in Sri Lanka, have a good time and make new friends.
Right infront of our surf camp are the surf spots just for beginners and also intermediate.

Experience, enthusiasm and an almost unconditional love for surfing – that’s what distinguishes us at Cheeky Monkey Surf Camp. The perfect room for friends traveling together or for solo travelers you can find it here. Cozy and comfortable double bedrooms, each with their own bathrooms, are located at the nearest Surf spots in Midigama – surrounded by tropical gardens. Our deluxe rooms in our surf camp meet western criteria and feature hot water and A/C.

Characterization of surroundings/region
Our surf camp located in the small surf town Midigama offers the opportunity for small shoppings. We have lots of resturants and small shops in Midigama, but there are also options for bigger shopping tours 5 mins driving by tuk tuk or 3 mins driving by scooter. The most of the locals can communicate at least a little bit in English to.
Here we are using the Sri Lanka Ruppee. Living in sri lanka is quite cheap and everything is very close.

To come to cheeky monkey surf camp the easiest way is to take a taxi, its about 150 km away and about 65 USD, it can be shared, so it is cheaper and of course everyone could come by bus and train but it would take ages
