Pragee is a good instructor - Pragee is a good instructor and he helped me a lot in learning to surf. I took 8 lessons in 4 days. We started with a bit of theory, then practiced the basics step by step. He prepared breakfast and coconut every day. I was really pleased with what he tried to bring for us. This instructor gave me a sense of respect for this country. Highly recommend the lessons here. -

Firt time ever surfing! - This was my first time surfing and it was terrific. I didn't expect to like it but after the first lesson I wanted more. Prageeth is an excellent teacher. He knows how to explain everything in detail and to a complete novice. I managed to stand on the board twice in the first class. I am looking forward to coming back. -

Another prominent form of surfing is body boarding, in which a surfer rides the wave on a bodyboard, either lying on their belly, drop knee one foot and one knee on the board or sometimes even standing.

SURF COURSE AND ACTIVITIES
SURF COURSE DETAILS
Our class begins with a practise on the floor for 15 min to explain you how to pop-up and understand about safety in the sea. Then, let's go to the sea and catch your waves. For beginners, we take softboard for the three - four fisrt classes and then if you feel comfortable we use hardboard. You will learn something new at each class.
SURF MATERIALS
We provide Surfboard and rashguard. We have a clothes shop if you need short or your own rashguard. We provides rental surfboard which costs 500 rupees the hour.

Main spot is Weligama beach, no reef, easy for beginner. There are others spot with reef for more advanced
